Hi

I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease when I was thirty four. I had surgeries the year before for hemmrhoids and a fistula. I was having trouble recuperating from these surgeries. A surgeon diagnosed me with Crohn's Disease. At the end of the following year, I had the flu. Shortly after that, I developed an anal abscess which caused me to bleed for three months. It had to be drained twice and I had to have intravenous drugs. Two years later, I had a fistula. Three years later, I developed another fistula. In 2010, my intestines got wrapped around and I had to have a resection. I am on Remicade, Imuran, Pentasa, Ferrofood, Synthroid, Prevacid and medicine for an overactive bladder. About a month ago, I accidentally overdosed on an antibiotic which tore up my stomach. Ever since then, I have had different periods of diarrhea. Also, some of my bms are green. Is this a problem? Excuse me for being so longwinded.

Don't worry about sharing too much. We are happy to be here to help! Usually, when you have green bm's that means that there is iron/blood in there. But, there are a few other things that can turn your bm's green as well. Such as; grapes, certain fruit juices and other types of fruit. From what you're saying, it's more than likely blood. But, I would check with these first before getting terribly worried. I encourage you to look around on here and please let me know if you have any questions!
