This coming Thursday I will be having my third and final loading dose of infliximab which will mark 6 weeks since I started treatment. I currently have a fistula from my ileum to my abdominal wall/waistline.
I am due to see my specialist at the end of January which will be 9 weeks in to treatment. If there is no signs of improvement by then my GI said we will; need to talk about surgery.
Apart from the fistula my condition since starting infliximab has improved, no more cramping and gaining weight. So my question is to those that have had fistulas heal using infliximab - how long did it take?
