Humira

I have recently (today) started on Humira. I also am still taking budesonide, 6mp and Lydia.

I was diagnosed a few years ago and was controlled for a while but have been borderline controlled and my body cant take enough 6mp to control my crohns disease.

I am wanting to hear peoples experience with Humira, if it worked or not and what side effects people have experienced, good and bad.

Any input would be great

Permanent neuropathy and fibromyalgia. It was a horror for me but a blessing for many.

Those were side effects for you? What other medications were you taking at the time?

DS has been on it for over a year and half almost.
No major issues with it at all other pain of injection.
Has worked well on his crohn's.

Thank you for your input. I am glad to hear it has worked for DS. I can't imagine the strength it would take as a parent to have a child with Crohns. My heart goes out to you.

Yes. Nothing else. I have no doubt about the damage done to me was due to humira. That said it's a positive game changer for so many.
