Humira

I have to start Humira shots. I'm just wondering what side effects you all have had with these shots? Also, how painful are they? I don't want to give myself shots, but I don't have many other options.

I had no ill effects from Humira, even when I had weekly shots. I chose the syringes because needles dont bother me, or hurt. The leg was pretty easy and if you are nervous freeze the area you are getting done. I think the first shots are 2.. cant remember . Too bad it didn last too long for me, it was a piece of cake and no pills to swallow. Dont worry, it will be just fine!

I didn't notice any side effects....the shots sting, but are tolerable. Can a family member give them to you?

I didn't have any side effects. It is a sharp sting, but it is over in 10 seconds. I had my husband do them. Honestly, if you they help you feel better, the little sting is so worth it. When are you scheduled to start?
