Ibd before my freshman year

I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis after my first colonoscopy on valentines day. Anyways, I'm just nervous about what is come next year. I'm going to an art school. What do I do if I have a flare up away from the Houston hospitals. My relationship with my bf feels like its falling apart. As someone who loves to eat food, I don't know how to feel happy about this situation. What happens from here. How long does it take to become in remission. I'm so tired of this already.

I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis and difficulty with your bf. unfortunately we never know when remission would hit it can be months or years.

I would definitely get a GI and connect with IBD resources and be familiar with the options near your school.
