IDK where to post...bleeding issues

Well this is more of a girl question for the guys who may have clicked it lol...
Anyway I have a copped IUD in since 2007 it's been good and I like it alot, but my parents think it's the main cause of all my rediculous problems since I'm allergic to nickle. Anyway the issue I'm having is well I forgot my meds the past two days and I haven't really had much trouble just a couple extra bathroom visits well after my last bathroom visit I noticed some blood outside of my regular cycle(I know this because it ended about a week ago) It's been a steady stream of blood since then and now I'm wondering if it's an absess/fistula or something completly different and not worth the worry. I've also been dealing with monthly yeast infections. Perhaps I'm in fits about nothing and it's my body telling me it's time to get this dang IUD out but I'm still worried I've never bled outside of my usual period...any advice or help...yell at me to shut up lol.

I would see a doctor about it. Maybe the mirena would be better for you. They say you should see you doctor if you have irregular bleeding. I am sure spotting and such is potential side effect of the iud.

I dont think its a reason to freak out, but definitely should be looked into.

Thanks I schedualed an app with an ob/ gyn but of coarse I can't get in for a couple of months(a lot like before my crohns diagnosis I had to wait forever to get to see a gi) I may make a quick app for planned parenthood just to see a dr about it. If it is a side affect of the iud then its prob best to get it removed now.

Figured I'd update. The bleeding has seemed to slow to a dribble(not that it was bad enough to soak a pad to begin with but still lol) I can't get in to see an ob/gyn till October so I went n search for answers and found a site I could ask specialists questions. I wrote my symptoms and such and asked what it could be. I got a reply today saying it's unclear but she emphasized not to rule out pregnancy...and she described a perfect storm of my IUD disloging and IDK she worded it weird...ANYWHO the other things she mentioned were hormonal changes, uterin fibroids, ovary disfunctions, and in the worst case senario cervical cancer...but in order to be sure of anything I'd have to get a ful ob/gyn checkup.

At any rate...I feel like I should take a pregnancy test just to make sure...even though it's highly doubtful...lol seriously I have an IUD and JUST had my period which was slightly longer and a little more crampy and heavier than usual sooo...baby is probably a no go lol

Well I am sure a test would help clear your mind. Some dollartrees carry pregnancy tests, and they do actually work believe it or not.
