Inflectra advice

Anyone feel like shit after starting a biologic for the very first time?

I’m experiencing mild nausea, fatigue and loss of appetite.

Crohn’s diagnosed 2006.

It may be your body getting used to the medication - I'm sure others will chime in....I get Remicade and usually feel 'off' for a day or so after - mine might be partly the Benadryl hangover too (I get 50mg IV prior to my infusion)...

My kiddo got this with remicade /humira and now Stelara injections
He says it’s the “reset button”
Only last 24 hours ish
Sometimes less
Then he feels great (after the meds kicked in )
Remicade it can take up to 6 weeks to be fully effective
Humira up to 3 months
And stelara longer
