Infliximab or surgery

After trying Asacol, many courses of prednisilone and a mixture of Azathioprine and Alipurinol my UC keeps returning, following a visit with my GI today he says i have 2 options left have Infliximab or have surgery to remove my colon. I am quite scared and neither seem like a good option and i dont know what to do. I asked to have some time to think on it but i am so very confused which to do.

Remicade is an amazing drug. It made me feel pretty good while I was on it. It wouldn't hurt to give it a go before you decide to have your colon removed. It is your choice, obviously, but Remicade does wonders for a lot of people.
