Info on Entocort and kids?

Popping in here hoping someone else will have info on kids getting Entocort. My 8 y/o was just prescribed this after being dx with colitis. I'm not finding any info anywhere about kids using it, except in controlled studies--everything says it hasn't been evaluated properly. We've been with this GI for another child, for over a year, and I trust him, but haven't gotten the chance to discuss this thoroughly. Trying to decide if we should start the meds, help his pain and ask questions later, or if we should wait till our appt next week when questions can be answered.
