Insurance coverage for Canasa Supp

Hi,

My doctor wants me to try Canasa Suppositories but my insurance won't cover them 🤯. I just afford to pay for them out of pocket. Does anyone have a suggestion for an alternative? Or has anyone tried to purchase these from Mexico or Canada?

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum and thank you for your help!

There are generic forms of Canasa -
Mesamalmine suppositories
Ask your Gi about generic
Most insurances cover the generic brand
They worked fine for ds

I 2nd MLP advice. I have used the generic version and they work well. I pay $10/month with insurance.

I've tried generics in the past but it just doesn't work well for me. Thank you for your help but I'm going to keep trying to find a cheaper source online. I guess I might post here if I find a pharmacy.
