This is very common during a flare, you get inflammation in your tum, and it manifests itself elsewhere, knees are common, I have it too, and ankles and hips.
Don't take any NSAIDS such as Ibuprofen. Paracetamol will kill the pain and/or codeine. Heat or Ice will help too. Or a topical steroid cream like Ibugel, which contains Ibuprofen but won't enter your guts, on prescription only.

The joint pains can be terrible! I usually feel the pains in my lower back, hips, knees, and elbows. A few years ago, I had terrible pain in shoulder blades. It hurt and felt itchy. It was Christmas Eve, and I couldn't enjoy the holiday. I ended up just crying because nothing would get rid of the pain, it just had to run its course.

It's been about a month since my diagnoses and have been experiencing lower back pain for the past 2 weeks and it is getting worse. My specialist wants to do scans now. Wasn't sure if this was one of the complications of Crohn's.

Ive been having some horrible pains in my wrists, central back, ankles, and severe pain in my right knee.

This is a very recent occurance (2 days ago)

Crohns, yes?
