:sheep::sheep::sheep::sheep:Hi just thought i would pop in and take a win on this new thread

Up early to get blood drawn, why does it always feel colder when an alarm clock wakes me?
Oh yes I'm sure it has to do with sleep cycles and whatnot.

Anyway, winning.

Hi all,my you have all been busy.I'm trying very hard not to be sarcastic,so I will go and do something useful before I explode.........Oh!!! WINNING,and back soon to win again

But I love it when you are sarcastic, Carol! Hugs!

Alas, not everyone is on the same wave length as we are Cheryl. There has been a wee bit of upset lately, and sarcky remarks might not go down too well.......But I will take the win again,ta very much.

Well, Carol, you know what I say.....sarcasm is my super power, lol! And underrated in some circles, I believe.

Just hone your Bowie Knife, you wimp:ylol:

I've tried to learn knife honing it's pretty hard, and the sharpest I ever got a blade still wasn't good enough to shave with.

It could cut the hair but the razor burn it would have left... :mad2:

I've actually considered getting a straight razor but it would be an investment I can't currently afford, bottom line for one made with real razor-quality metal is like $80-100.

Good evening. Hi Dee.. welcome back. And a big :rosette1: to some new names I think I noticed.

I will take that win now.

Does this seem strange.
So I used to get my blood drawn next to my doctor's office, about a 30-45 minute drive depending on traffic.
Then they opened a closer one. I went to it and there's this lady there. I can barely understand what she's saying. She has an 'urban' accent and speaks like she has false teeth maybe. Anyway the first time I went she spent like 5 minutes looking up my files before asking me how to spell my name and realizing she guessed it wrong. Why not just ask off the start?

So that was fine, on my third time back though she bumped into the needle and it went through the vain into my arm.

Now I've decided it's worth 20 minutes longer a drive to save my veins.

I was just about to complement her too, she found this vein I didn't even see and nailed it with zero pain.

Then that...

I once had a person that every time she took blood from me she pulled the needle out and scrached the skinwith the tip... I still have a small scaring. Some people just dont know what they are doing.

Does this closer place not have anyone else to take your blood?

:dance:Hi .....on such a lovely sunshine summer's day I just had take a win to make my day....cheers!:sheep::sheep::sheep:

Hi all and welcome to all the newbies, welcome back Dee and Wallath, and where's Wallath been? You sneak in and out like Santa Claus. Barely see you!
And should anybody care, (which they won't) not doing the hair coloring until a couple of sores heal up on my head.
Can you believe it has been over 24 hours since I posted? (barely).
Sorry Trev, you didn't keep your win too long, because we all know who the real winner is, and its me.:thumright:

I went to the GI yesterday. I have been having pain in my right side of my abdomen. Also having more and more D. The doc poked around my gut and I shot to the ceiling! He Told me that it could be a bacterial infection, but most likely is active Crohns. He prescribed Flagyl, and scheduled a colonoscopy for Feb. 8th. If not bacterial, then they will change my Humira prescription to probably weekly injections.

So sorry to hear that Doug after we thought you were doing so well.Let us know if the weekly shots do the trick, ok? :rosette2:

Doug would have one good day and say he has been doing a lot better, and convince himself that he was in remission, and had been for days. He is delusional. I knew better by how many times he runs, and I mean RUNS to the bathroom. At least he tries to be positive, but reality is hitting him a little hard right now. They say opposites attract. I always think I'm dying and once in a while have a moment of reality and know that I'm not. :eek2::rof:
At any rate, team Utah is winning again.

Doug, buddy I am thinking of you. Gd luck for gi nd getting it all sorted. Big hugs!

I Don't know about ” delusional”, just some days are better than others.

Lunch break win. The break is from cleaning.. getting a lot done today. And the weather is awesome so definately taking a walk on the ice again today. :)

I usually just have one cup in the morning and then later have teaa. I was more or less
joking about that. I have work to do, so I'll talk to you later hun! Loves!:rosette2:

It's hard to give it up because the withdrawals, when you have something to do and you need energy to do it.

If I don't have some I get chills, I feel sick, groggy and grumpy.

I broke down and made a cup because my mom needs me to take the cat to the vet and if I didn't I'd have gone back to bed.
I work out monday, wednesday and friday and there's no way I'd have the energy without it. I'm thinking I might try to work it down to a 3 day a week thing, I think I should have enough healing time that 3 days shouldn't hurt.

It's so easy to get caught up in the idea that crohn's is a product of bad eating habits and blame your every bad habit for your health, then you remember people like this exist:
:mad2:

Ah,thats disgusting. Why would anyone want to stuff food in like that ?What a waste. That amount of food would have fed six hungry people, not very well,granted....

Because he gets paid to do it by youtube viewership.

You think that's bad watch his 150 warhead challenge, his mouth bleeds.

Thats just nasty. He acomplished nothing by doing that. Just learn a way to stuff food in your mouth and swallow with some water. Gross.

I would not blame having crohns on a diet. I was diagnosed at age 12 and had a normal home made food and there are people who eat like that man in that clip. A child cannot have caused something like crohns with what they eat and on that I base that neither has an adult. Not directly with diet only.

Good Morning Everybody
The sun is shining brightly but it is very cold 10below.
Thinking of going for a walk......
Still thinking----
In the meantime I will take the win----------

Dude seems to be making a living off it, I'd say he's accomplished something, even if at great cost.

This is why this world is a sad place today. If people can make a living out of pigging off. And I know they can.. too meny of those shows on tv. :(

Seems fair to me, he gives people joy in the form of entertainment.
He's also a recovered anorexic, so he gives people hope with his 180 turn around.

lol.. You think he does not go and puke after that? I would not call it a turn around.. just a new eating disorder. And the stuff people call entertainment. But yeah.. thats what it is indeed.

Well - seeing how many marshmallows you could stuff into your mouth was always a good game as a kid.

I made a snow angel today. Was fun. My dog was not sure what to think of it that I lay down in the snow.

See how pretty the day was with sun and clean snow.

I was thinking about it but could not figure out how I would do it. :p

Yes, I guess it would be difficult unless you rolled him on his side and waved his paw up and down and then the other side! Just funny to think about!:ylol:

I really did think about doing that.. but I dont think my dog would have liked it (or even let me do that). Might have had people think I was abusing him. :ylol:

I know what you mean with the caffeine withdrawals, last night I had such a headache, went to bed at about 8pm #studentlife

That said I feel much better today, bit tired but not asleep at 8pm tired! Do you use any supplements when you go the gym InstantCoffee?

Had a nice walk in the freezing sunny air!
Returning now for the win........

Caffeine is my supplement.

All I've learned about supplements is that they are unnecessary.
If you want a pre-workout energy boost some simple sugars and caffeine are the best bet. Smarties are good, they're pure dextrose and metabolize quickly. I usually just have honey.

For other stuff, it's just replacing what you can get in diet normally if you eat the right foods. Best one is a multi-vitamin.

I mean some things like creatine etc. have benefits but I don't know enough about them, they help people bulk up, but cause water retention. Protein supplements are only necessary if you don't get enough in your diet.

I could use a calorie supplement but idk where to get one that wouldn't make me sick with all the garbage in it.
