So Sandy, How much housework did you accomplish? Is that bathroom done yet? That's always the worst Part for me. Hate it.:stinks:

Bathroom done, kitchen done (wasn't too bad because I can't function in a cluttered kitchen), Livingroom almost done, front hall done, dining room halfway. I've been a busy girl.
Ashley is complaining because I'm making her clean her room. "I'm not organized, mom, and I never will be. I don't know why you ask me to do that." Just wait until we confront her and Andrew about taking his grandmother's jewelry! (you have to love RAD kids.)

I know I raised one. I'm really happy for you getting all that done Sandy! Don't you feel so good when you look at it knowing in just two days, it will be right back to the way it was? Especially with a teenager around!! I used to tell my daughter to clean her room and she would go in and dump all her drawers out onto the floor!!!:ywow: Not joking. She said she wanted it done right. Then it would take her 2 weeks and it drove me half looney. I gave up after awhile and just shut the door!

Well, Hubby is almost home and he needs the computer till later on. So, I'll talk to you tonight hopefully!!!

morning guys, so much reading just to keep up with you lot, need a cafine fix.
Kirsty, my invite must have been lost in the mail, please send another one.

Glad you joined this thread too, AB.

We just bought a deep freeze to replace the one that died about a week ago. We also just bought a lawn mower to replace the one that died a few days before that. Our roof was blown off in December. Our clothes washer not long before that. Vehicle repairs somewhere in there. A little problem with our refrigerator this last month (something stupid we could have fixed without as much stress.) I think everything is new or recently repaired. It's like having a new house! Nothing can go wrong! we have fixed everything!

NEVER say, nothing can go wrong!!! That just tempts the devil LOL!:ymad:

And you say that I'm full of stories! I can't believe all that has happened so fast.:frown:
Where the heck is everyone?

In for the win and now putting the jug on to make a pot of tea. I just had my avo nap.

Blood work, hep B shot and urine sample. Going for the lab work win today. Alos talked to a friend on the phone from school. So that is a double win!!

Aren't we though Angry? Missed you today. Guess you had to work. I'll be joining you tomorrow. Have a lovely nigh or day. Whichever it is for you!!!

Yes back at work now, although for the 2nd time in a week I am having to go in late after I have had some bloods done. Apparently despite taking 8 vials on Thursday they forgot to check my kidney function and my GP will not re-new my 6mp script until this is done

It's currently 8:25am here.

I'm in my pyjamas and dressing gown in front of the fire, watching tv. Time for a win

Hi Trev, it was ok. I am just sooo tired after this weeks Humira. I am just about to crawl back in to bed. Hows the Naki? We have had rain all week. Despite that I have been behaving myself this week and havent lost the plot, so far. Toys are still in my cot, so to speak.

its been a busy week, fitted new oven and today finnished fitting toilet, thinking about going to Foxton beach for a break.

You have been busy. How is the eye? This weekend we are off over the wairapapa with a stop at Tui heaven in Mangatinoka - Hey do you think Robert has heard about our Tui girls. The best beer brewers ever:ylol:

Foxton will be a bit wet and cold at the moment, don't you think? Could be good for some ruggard weather?

we have some friends at Foxton, we are due for a catchup, maybe send Robert a link to the girls, not that he would look at it.

Carol, what's the name of your pooch? he looks like he's really fun loving and playful.

Sandy, what is RAD? (Really Active Daughter?) Ha, ha. Stole jewelry?!? I'd love to be a fly on the wall for "The Confrontation". Bet it's going to be some good drama. Creative even. Maybe?

I've been a busy beaver the last few days. Took dear daughter shopping for her college and high school supplies. Yesterday I had a three hour neurology appointment and took my daughter w/me to take notes. Wow, she was able to keep up with the neurologist. Better than I could have done. She typed everything up on her computer. Maybe this evening she can print for me. Went to Panara Bread for lunch. They have the best broccoli soup bread bowl. Today is GI appointment as well as physical therapy. Can't wait to get in the heated 93 degree pool. It's really cool to be in the pool when you can watch it snowing outside. Just awesome! Nurse came by yesterday late afternoon. Discovered I was running a low grade fever. Gotta watch that. Had some chills and was supposed to go to ER if I had chills. Didn't though. Sleep was more important. Ha, ha!

Robert, My hubby wears short sleeve shirts. No need to chuck yours.

Am I the only one who still has the one and only original spouse? So glad I've never had to go through a divorce. What a mess; in more ways then one.

Kirsty, I'm sorry to hear about loosing the cooking items to ex. How awful. I bet he doesn't even cook. And the beach house too????!!!!!!

Wow Robert. Your ex left you high and dry! What a shame. How did you come about being a cigar consultant? Odd job. I had never heard of that position before.

723, with all your wonderful cleaning experience, do you want to come over and clean my house? Mainly the kitchen. For some reason my family thinks the sink is for storing dirty dishes. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. What's your name?

Wow Trev, sounds like you've been busy. Keep up the good work.

My name is Glori.

Gotta run. Long day ahead... :eek:utahere:

My dear son, who is currently deployed over seas, sent me this photo.

Even tough guys break down when they see a kitten.

Morning all, and it is just by an hour. For some reason I am awake when I should be asleep, so I thought I would get an extra win

Well I am sleepy, lol, opened this morning (7:30). But there's coffee, so I should be ok...sorry you are awake again. I did that 4 nights in a row last week.

:ybatty:Its a tad frustrating eh, rather than fight it I thought I would come on here for 30 mins and then try and go back to sleep again. No point in beating myself up over it :ybatty: all my drugs have that covered.

I have been on here 15mins catching up with you all. From now on I'm gonna read the LAST page only.I know I'm late logging on but been busy busy busy.NL our dog is called Alfie. We've been married 46yrs next month and always had dogs, sometimes 3 or 4 but I was younger and fitter then.Used to walk 6miles a day,now only 3.Never considered divorce.MURDER,yes many many times. If I had done the deed I would have been OUT by now.You only get 7yrs for crimes of passion and good behavior. So for being extremely tolerant towards my dear hubby..............I WIN

Hugs, Carol!

Ditto.

And hugs to all. I have to go get ready for another meeting at the foster agency. ~ sigh ~ They never end.

Glori, RAD is "reactive attachment disorder." Kids with this diagnosis never learned proper bonding as kids, because they never had the attention and love they deserved. it is typical for them to "act out" some way (usually with violence, but our dear Ashley has other ways that are just as hard to deal with, believe it our not), especially when you start to feel like you are getting somewhere. They are afraid of love, craving love, and testing it by acting out all at the same time. It can be interesting.

Gotta run.

Be good everyone.

I know you know that I was concerned about you when you were sick, but HE will keep on about it.The little sweetheart.:ghug:

Oh, he wasn't fooling me a bit....he's so jealous, lol! He appears busy today, we can really give him a hard time without retribution today, lol!

oh,I'd much rather he was there to fight back, wouldn't you ? Anyhow,I'm going to be REALLY nice to him 'cos that upsets him much more (or so he pretends):hallo3:

so that's settled then.Lots of hugs.kind words and attention for our sweetheart.AND we know he hasn't really got a shock button.

I have been working today - smoking cigars and drinking Cognac - only to find I have been the butt of abuse. Anyway - I am going to find out what this Tui business is all about.

Oh yeah, like THAT'S work...only to find you have been the butt....lol, now see, you can't just leave yourself wide open, you know I can't resist.

I hate to say this ladies, but I have seen the REAL shock button. But that doesn't mean he doesn't deserve lots of hugs, etc. He already sets himself up for attention though. In fact, I think he must have been a RAD kid.

Kirsty, I hope you feel better very quickly. You have been going through some rough times. Time now to feel better.

Gotta run again. I'm going to get my juicer out and do a little juicing. Also, Ashley will be coming home, and due to circumstances beyond our control, the big confrontation will be tonight instead of yesterday.

Okay but why have you kept it from me all this time - I don't get much excitement.

Away again tomorrow - so I get some peace from the madhouse.

Maybe I thought you'd need cheering up after a hard day smoking cigars and drinking cognac - Yeah Right!

Kirsty - Tui girls are great - why don't we have that over here - I would buy it (easily led)
