Glori, you should have Kirsty tell you her plumbing story, maybe you will smile a little as you recover.
Kirsty, the cat's outta the bag. Please share your plumbing story. Thanks!

Some of the plumbing cleared, but not all. Sigh.... I'm currently having a looooooong drink through my port. Got dehydrated again. This is so frustrating. Ya know something, I've noticed that some folks name their stoma's. Maybe I should come up with a name for my airplane that landed on my chest. (Huber needle looks like an airplane). What do you think?
Just got myself a win...
How did your day go Teresa?
Wow! I was on the other forum for a while.

Never post something in a challenging way. Someone's liable to rise to the occasion. Ha, ha!
Phone kept ringing off the hook today. I never got to get out. Shucks! I wanted to go to the thrift store and locate some nightgowns for my surgery on Oct. 1st. I'm willing to bet I won't want anything around my waist for a while. Hospitals are usually cold so I was going to attempt to locate a few flannel nightgowns and make adjustments to make some of them into a patient gown to use while I'm at the hospital and save the rest for when I return home from the hospital. Perhaps another day....
Trysha, can you explain about the banana, i didnt get it.
Hello GuitarJamie - I have decided it really is just you and Trysha who are normal and sensible on here.
Trysha - I like your suggestion about the tie but maybe a bit plain? Kirsty is my advisor of course and I have something that matches her suggestion.
Dusty - see! see! I told you she was all bad - brings something slightly different of course, but really! Does she really think Trev and I are so sad?
Kirsty - regarding your advice to stop the abuse - well I have no idea what you mean
Teresa - that is a joke about you all being wonderful, etc - isn't it? Sorry you have ducked out of our fight - understandable though.
At least Glori and Sandy understand!
Trysha, Yes, you deserved a win. Hope you enjoyed your win. It's over now cause it's my turn for another win.
oo: This is how I feel only nothings coming. I need a plumber to unclog the system!:voodoo:
I don't get it either Trev---think you had better ask DustyCat since she is the one who mentioned it!
Think I deserve the win .
Dusty - I've got a banana tree in my back yard if you need practice on eating them. I would advise biting and chewing at some point otherwise you will be there all day
Sheep boy and Robbie...I think you need some instruction on the versatility of the banana.
Think I deserve the win .
Just spent the day and night in ICU complete with IV in each arm and two wounds from aborted attempts to insert needles and to rule out abdominal aneurysm------tests negative
thank goodness.
However ---they decided it was kidney stones because it goes with Crohn's and because of hematuria.Great life if you don't weaken eh?
So now I feel well qualified to take the win---

Robert, Love the bananas! I laughed so hard I've got tears running down my face.
DustKat, love your banana poem... Are you still in the loo from your banana gulping? Hope everything works out ok. Snicker, snicker.:rof:
.
Hi Everybody
Thank you all for the kind support---I am much better today and hoping to put the episode behind me.
The docs are hoping the stone(s) have gone but intend to do follow up.
I am really glad to be out of the ICU and home again.
Sandy they always like it when the stones pass out on their own and hope this is the case.I have strict instructions from the cardiologist to return immediately by ambulance directly to the ICU should the symptoms recur.
I see everyone has been very active in my absence and in fact going bananas!
So now I take the win!
i am good. Just waiting on my firend to come over. She is spendning the night with me so I might have to clean up a little before she gets here. How are you?
Hey it's ok if we sneak in every now and then  The sushi was great as were the vol o vonts. Now I am going to make a big batch of pumpkin, feta filo wraps to freeze for lunches
get a life!
This has to be the longest goodbye since Frank Sinatra - also how many holidays do you have - I reckon it is about six since March. Rest assured while you are away I will be a staunch advocate for you and pitch in on your behalf whenever required.
Robert, not talking to you
Darn! I was going to ignore Robert today as I know he likes being at the center of attention.
Teresa, actually, even though the seizure was worse last night and my BP was 170ish over 117 which is huge headache territory for me, I woke up feeling better then I had in a few days. I'm really fine today, although a little weak. I was very (pleasantly) surprised. I hope everyone has a good day.
Still ignoring you
I'm back Teresa, if you are still there. I just had to eat my bowl of cereal since you are so far away. What are you doing now?
