I especially hate the outsourcing from India. Nothing against the people, but I just can't understand a word they are saying.

Now after I complained, I've got to go too. House is a mess, I am to, and Ashley coming home. Think I have a little fever too.

Yea, I have just done my first recording for the day. My voice box tires as I have to project and clearly announciate my words (Robert, hush that thought)

I have my vitamin B drink with me which helps. I'm ignoring the state of the house, I may tidy a bit this evening - depends if I make branston pickle this afternoon or not

Sweet Trev, if I am in bed there is a problem - its day time I need to be out of bed! How you going? I am rocking on with the recordings today:dance:

hi Cheryl and Kirsty, you guys gave Robert such a hard time, i thought it might be pick on men week.

hey Kirsty we will have to have a catch up so you can see all the changes in the motorhome, ive been a busy boy.

Hey, Trev, Robert is in a class of his own. He LIKES to be picked on by women. We love each of you in your own unique way.

I have two more recordings to go and then I have finished 27 pods for one area of learning. Only 15 areas of learning to go...

i just typed a joke in the joke page, and did a spell check, guess what it auto corrected (feckin) to?

Did everyone go? I'm getting a complex. You all leave when I get on this forum!

Sweetie,
You have to get up pretty early in the morning around here to talk to these folks!!!! They are early birds. Not me, but at least I get up before noon,LOL! Missed you
so much today Sandy! Hope you are well!!!!
Mike and Molly is on at 10 tonight. New episode. I love that show other then the trashy Mother.

I'm feeling much better this evening. I get tired of not feeling well.:voodoo::voodoo::voodoo: However, I'm determined to eat better and get myself in in a lot better shape. I am hereby pledging to lose 10 pounds (to start). I know that will help some of my not feeling well.:)

Hi Sandy,
I am fine other than my neck pain. Glad you are feeling better. You have a supportive and sweet hubs!
We missed you today.
Trysha has been in the hospital, that's why she wasn't posting. But she said she is beeter now. On antibiotics.:ghug:

:sheep::banana::sheep::banana::bigwave:.....a win to the kiwi.................yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wallath is here! Teresa, have you met Wallath? Wallath met Teresa. I'm so sorry Trysha has been in the hospital. Trysha, are you okay now? What has been going on, if I may ask? You know I really admire you.

Yep, Wallath's been around (here at least) - I have just spend the whole afternoon chopping carrot, cauliflower, swede, onion, gherkin, dates, apples for Branston pickle. It is now on the stove for the next two hours:ybiggrin:

Well I have been reading through and need to right a few wrongs - I just can't leave you alone for long!

Trysha - Welcome back - we missed your calm sanity
Wallath - Welcome back - we missed you and the sheep
Teresa - Marks & Spencer Sausage & Mash (potato) - I am sure I must have had Tacos at some point but not sure - I AM NOT FOREIGN!!!!! - remember where the English language came from grrrr - I think it was some localised flooding yesterday.
Sandy - so unfair - but there have been plenty of famous Robert's - I don't like overseas (take note Teresa) call centres - lady calls her bank and is put through to an operator in India 'ah but I would like to speak to my local branch please' 'Very sorry madam but all calls are handled here now - I am highly trained and can answer any question you could possibly have' ' OK - did I leave my gloves on the counter when I was in this morning?'
Cheryl - I was not asleep! I was out - and none of you are 'good girls'
Trev - Run while you have the chance - I get a bad feeling about this thread
Kirsty - You are not a 'good girl' - very funny about the weather - A New Zealander trying to annunciate ha ha ha ha - you always give me a hard time

apart from that hope everyone is well

I was surprised that you did not comment on the fact that I was making Branston Pickle. Announciating does hurt ones cheeks :ytongue: just pour me the bourbon and it will come out as smooth as silk - in my own mind at least.

Giving you cheek is a form of attention that you appear to like, if you want nice attention and nice comments why dont you try and role model it for us?:D

I always love reading your stories - you are full of fun. :lol2:Your cookery sounds wonderful. :chef: I wish you best luck on Last One Wins - and hope you are competing for a long time to come :thumright:

Hope all is well with you and you have a great day - speak soon :cheerss:

Version 2.

'Announciating does hurt ones cheeks'

Ha ha - well we know you don't use the spell check. I want to win this so no let up from me - did you tell those nice people at Branston you were copying their pickle!

Doug----I wasn't being rude about your team it's just we are not into any form of sport. The great outdoors every time.Robert-----my hubbys having sausage and mash today, but with bubble and squeak and gravy from Sundays roast. And everyone else, the weather is attrocious here, rain and wind and floods and trees down and road accidents.Apparently it's the tail-end of something or other from the U.S. area? Bet that pickle tastes good, better than bought stuff.Good luck with your weight loss Sandy, take it slowly though and don't get downhearted.Thankyou for the win xxx

Sounds intriguing. They sell a mix here that is called garden mix. It has cauliflower, carrots onions and I think peppers. I'm not quite awake yet. Coffee hasn't kicked in.

Robert,
Thankyou for your reply to all us gals who adore you.
It was nice of you to address us all at one post like that. Shows us how important we all are:thumbdown: not!

No, I just read that one yesterday and today I sent you a new one. I don't think i answered yours or it was short maybe.

I k know that! I meant I didn't want to look just to see if it was there. I'm not making sense yet.still asleep so said, but did just take my breakfast, er, pills, now I get to prick my finger for glucose levels. Lovely routine.

It is freezing in my house. It's supposed to go to 70 later. I turned on a baseboard heater downstairs I have and it will warm it up down there. But, i have a weird stairway and it takes forever for heat to get up here. We have an entryway that is separate from the livingroom and that's where the stairs are.
I should turn on the space heater I have up here.:ylol:

That's ok, didn't mean to make it look like I was yelling at you. Me and my exclamation points. I woke Mike up one night yelling,"followed by a big red exclamation point!!!" that's all I said! LOL!:lol2:

Yep, you want to be comfy. It is going to barely hit 60 here and might rain. A lot different from Kirsty's version of weird phenomenon for England where the sun broke out, our desert whether weird phenomenon is where rain broke out.

Yes we are to get rain and thunder storms later too. But warmer than you guys. It's going to be this way for the whole time I'm at Dana's. 60's and alot of days rain. Lovely...:shifty-t:

It is the other way around. I use to many! I'm not yelling either, just trying to figure out what I was doing up at 7:00 a.m. I liked your joke though.

Robert, what would w do without you? We might actually have normal conversations and THAT would be scary.

Why are you up so early, not like you???I was awakened by the local tribune review wanting me to buy the paper. They call twice a day. I yelled" take my name off your calling list please." Maybe they'll get the message this time.:hallo3:

I won't answer half of my calls, even take the phone off the hook when sleeping. When neighbor couldn't get me two days in a row, she stopped by yesterday

I think I got up early to try to regulate sleep schedule while no headache (or at least minimum) Blood sugar is high again. Sigh.

Ashley made egg salad by herself yesterday. I wasproud of her. she usually needs help. getting hungry too. should we go get our meals and talk later?

Taking care of a disabled 32 year old do her housework and keep her entertained. We went to lunch every week, did scrapbooking, etc. and I got paid for that.

Mine was 86-87. I just prepared her meals and did laundry and cleaned here and there. She loved TV. I got 10 bucks an hr. for that. It was the easiest job I ever had.

About the same. I may have got paid about triple for being a legal secretary, but the abuse lawyers from Utah gave was not worth any amount of money. Bye for now.

6-25pm and still raining.Looks like same tomorrow.Nearly pj time. Not going to bed of course but I love to be comfortable.Taking over the win because I've been rained on 4 times today.Oh the joys of dog ownership.Getting a budgie next time.

I am still working - the joys of the self employed. Rain on and off today but mainly grey. Your dog knows all the routes - send him out on his own. Did you see the Battersea Dogs Home program last night - lots of bad dogs there to keep Alfie company.

yes i did and shed a few tears. There's no such thing as a bad dog, just bad owners. And I love Paul O'Grady.Wish he was my friend.

You just know he prefers dogs to people - and that is not always a bad thing. I admire the people who take on the really old dogs - the dogs last week - the really old labrador and poodle who were best of friends was really funny.

Yes,I think knowing that you aren't going to have them long is particulary good.It proves that these people are doing it for the good of the animal and not for status or gain.Always be suspicious of someone who doesn't like animals, there's something important missing in their makeup. (arn't we being civiised ?)

I thought you said, "Oh the joys of the unemployed!". Would've been fitting. What do you do when you aren't hobnobbing with the rich and famous to get them to buy cigars?

The Newfoundland I am taking care of starting tomorrow was a rescued dog. She has a deformed lower pallet and it makes her tongue stick out on the left side all the time. But whoever owned her, just got rid of her because she drools. She is the sweetest dog I ever knew.:)

My brother has an Australian shepard and he is 13 now and is getting close to having to be put down. He is having major arthritis trouble and can't get up for a little bit after he wakes up. You kind of have to help him. I dread the day David has to put him down...:(

Well at the moment I am working for a cigar manufacturer who are redesigning their boxes, because when displayed in the shops no one can see the brand imagery - I'm not a designer of course but I can tell them what I think they need to do.

I would like a dog but my lifestyle at present wouldn't allow it.

Sounds intriguing trying to come up with a logo picture. I would love doing creative type work. That is my best quality.

I have had dogs until I married Mike. He doesn't believe in dogs in a house because they mess it up.Which is true, I know, I clean for Dana. It is nice being able to pick up and go whenever you want and not worry about whose minding the dog.Plus I get to see dogs everywhere because everyone except me and the elderly lady across the street have at least one dog on our street.

Its a funny thing but thinking back to childhood (yes I know - everything was in Black and White) but I am sure dog breeds were very different then - more larger dogs - German Shepherds, etc, more mongrel breeds and very few small 'fluffy' dogs - or is that wrong?

Battersea Dogs Home say about 60% (I think that is right) of their dogs needing a home are Staffs!
