I'll just book Dusty in to keep you under control :rof: I did the vacumn and washing today

Yeehaw! Your nightmare is back!

Hey Aura, it was -2 this morning, not a biggie but enough to want that fire roaring!

Hi ho Sandy, hope your headache is better...

Hi Dusty - I booked you on this forum for next week while I'm away

YEa 2 am is still cold. I can understand you wanting the fire going.

Ahahahaha...

Here's the story of a lovely forum...

Welcome to your nightmare Robert!

I think Robert is busy cleaning at the moment. He is finding his inner domestic goddess - I had my fair share of that today. So tomorrow it is a work day for me.

Nah - this housework is over-rated - that is why my flat only has the essentials - it's a man's flat!!

Dusty will get bored over this side - we are not mean enough for her. Besides I don't like the competition.

Think I can get rid of Bug and Sanni in double quick time!

Hmmm trouble is Angel I think you might be a 'stayer', so I will need a different strategy for you.

Go back to the first page Robbie...only those from the lands down under have the stamina.

Awe....if i must. :tear::cry:
Look Robert, Dusty is on your side, u need to put her on your A team.

Hey Sanni, I'm bug. My mans nearing 40 as well, he's ten yrs my senior. But Teresas right, its about love! How fun is it to tease em tho!!! :D

Thats about what we have. 9 years. And for me thats something I apriciate of him really. Its kind of sexy. And that he is like 6.3 feet tall which makes him absolutely irrissitable. (I am about 5.8 feet).

Anyways. Having a sick day today from my work. Not relly that sick, but I was so tired and nausiated this morning I was unable to function really well. Not sure what is causing the nausea.. maybe missing my Humira 2 days back since the ampul did not go under the skin but totally missed its spot. Has happened before but usually atleas some has gone in.

Anyways being productive. Fixed 3 broken pice of clothing.. did some personal paper work at home and now going to try to either clean the house or clean my closet to remove summer things and get the warm stuff in.

Well good morning - again - where were you at 6.30am when I started work!

Anyway lets hope it is a quieter day on here today!

Ahhhh....morning! No sleep at all. I tried swearing the computer and phone away, thinking that would do it. Instead I laid awake listening to the hubbys cpap machine. I should have been here! Catching up this morning was comical! Robert, clever little picture you found there! But I've always been more like cindy, cute, sweet, determined, with somethin evil behind those eyes! Im still not scared!!! Teresa, you made me lol with the walmart comment...some of those people!!! If anyone thinks God doesn't have a sence of humor, they need only to go to walmart, and watch people for a day!!! Hope everyone has a good day!

In bed with a cuppa staring out at a miserable day.Have you finished your fumigation and did you find anything nasty under the bed ?:lol2:

Does cleaning involve under the bed? I think not! Actually I only got around to pushing the cleaner around the floor - then it got a little tedious - you have to be in the mood really.

I have been busy (work) all today and in London tomorrow - but had enough now until this evening.

Did you see the proposed 'Juice Fast' next month - now I love juicing - but five days worth .. hmmmm

It makes me sad that winter is here! I spent my summer shut up in the hospital. We've already had quite a bit of snow. But living here, I've invested in some real cute winter clothes/shoes!!

I have not been productive! I should be at my office, but I ache, and my bowels feel like they're being ripped apart! No energy yet.

Yes I did see that.I think maybe 1 day one week then 2 days the next week and so on,might work better for first timers. I also love Juicing, had chard, spinach, carrot and beet today.I have noticed my appetite isn't what it was.Once I've had my wheatgrass, banana meusli and juice I'm not bothered about anything else(except choccy)I throw more food away than I eat.'Course they reckon old people don't need as much food,so that might be it.:lol2:

Yes,thats what I thought ha ha.No really, old people are 15yrs older than I am.I'm definately not the twin set and pearls type and I know I shouldn't compare myself with other peeps, but I look a lot fitter than my peers.Or so I've been told.

OhOh!!!!! What does that make me? I really hate to admit it..........so I wont:mad2:

I only kid out of respect and love! (My mom always taught me to respect my elders!!!) Hehehe. No, you are only as old as you feel!!! Age really isn't anything more than a number. And I hate to admit to agreeing with Robert...lol...but I like measuring age in knowledge and experience!! :D

Awe, thank you scottsma! I will forever remain a child at heart! And Robert, I'm still not scared!!! And Thursday is coming quickly! I'm a little like a wart, just when you think you've gotten rid of me, I pop back up!!! Hehehe :D

It's very quiet on here today,do you think they're all waiting for me to get my pjs on and log off ? I'll be very upset if that's the case,Where are you Sandy,Teresa, Cheryl,Angel ? I know the Aus.& N.Z. peeps will be in bed now.Is America at war with the U.K.You've got an hour or so to reply or I really will be upset.

Boy will you be dissapointed on Friday!

Nah - Friday is party day - always happy!

Carol - They don't really get going until about 3 am our time - I think they wait until we have gone, it's safer. I think Cheryl might be on holiday this week though.

On another note I have recently bought the entire works of Charles Dickens (on Kindle) - all 15 books - all the short stories - all the magazines - it is huge - and all for £1.90! Reading Pickwick Papers - for the third time in my life - it is just a joy!

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Grrrrrrrrrr
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

OK just remember who started it Marcia!

It is 5pm here - what is the Hd version - would it be suitable for old folk like me?

You sound like Jan now! 'Marcia Marcia Marcia!!!' You will soon find me quite pleasant! What version of the kindle do you have now. The Hd has two already, coming out back to back really, the newest has double the storage. If you have the kindle fire, you will be able to handle the Hd. It has a better screen, better speakers, a camera, and tons of storage! I'm not sure how so much storage is necessary!!! I have over 500 books on my fire, and several aps, and still have ample storage! I will however, by the Hd due to the screen, speakers, and camera. I prefer my kindle to most other tablets! :)

Wow,who doesn't love a bargain. What you need now is a smoking jacket and cravat to compliment your wine and cigars, and a leather chesterfield. You could wear your thong under the smoking jacket, nobody would know.(except us)

Btw, I didn't even notice I said richard until you pointed it out! I was talking with the hubby about a friend of ours, named...richard! I'm going to blame the husband for distracting me. And the pain meds fir making distracting me an easy task! I'm sorry for the slip!

don't apologise for mishaps, like I said we're all thick skinned.I've put my foot in it many time, just plead insanity.

I'm going to blame the husband for distracting me.

I have never met your husband - but I just know he has to be a very tolerant and patient man. Well you have all the latest electronics before us over here (usually by a few months) - I really wouldn't use all the Kindle extras though (just the bit that makes the font larger!) - my mobile phone only makes calls and sends texts - oh how they all laugh.

I have always preferred 19th century fiction to 20th - I think I should have lived in that era.

Hey, quick question...I've asked it on the remicade club forum but haven't gotten much response. Are any of you on remi?? Has is caused bad joint pain for you?

He is a saint!! I will be the first to admit it!! Lol! I like the extras, I take my kindle with me everywhere, its my buddy during my weekly infusions! One can only stand so much tv. I couldn't tolerate not having a smart phone now! I'm actually talking with you on my phone!

My phone is also talk and txt,I use my lap top for surfing the net, emails and this forum only and horror of horrors I read proper books.(avidly)Life is much to short for complications and if it aint broke don't fix it.I'm intelligent enough for all this technology but don't feel the need.

Taking the win again before I shut down.Have a good time without me.I hope you are all well.?????? it's a bit worrying not hearing from any of you today.x

I'm intelligent enough for all this technology but don't feel the need.

It's strange but when I was younger I used to really understand everything about any technology I bought - even with cars I would read the manual cover to cover. Now I am just not interested - an age thing of course - but I am with you on this one Carol. Computer geeks think they are the future - I just think they are geeks.

Computer geeks think they are the future - I just think they are geeks.

Some computer geeks would concider you a geek for your choice in reads, and entertainment! I am not one of them...not even a computer geek. I keep up on technology, but I'm also called granny jen!!! Lol! There's nothing like the smell of a new book, or a newspaper. And I knit, crochet, weave, sew, cross stitch...you name it! Perhaps I have an old soul

JBug, We have not had any snow yeat, but it will come any day (or atleast they keep predicting some). Sorry that you have had a hospital summer. Been there know the feeling, not fun at all. Well technically for me it was early spring, but still. A long time at a hospital is not fun no matter what time of year.

My hubs keeps telling me you are only as old as the person you feel :ylol:

I'm the same - phone is for talk and text and laptop is for work and net; camera is for photos; video camera is for movies; digi voice recorder is for podcasts; ipod is for music and kindle is for reading.

I've caught up on everything that happened while I was a sleep. Carol - I loves ya - our timings just suck! :lol2:

Robert, Teresa good morning you wonderful people, is bugs still here? I hope so. I enjoyed reading about Richard :ylol:

Honeys, I'm home. I missed you. I still don't feel well so want sympathy, err, empathy (inside joke with somebody who might be watching over you, and no, Robert, it's not God don't be paranoid, there's hope, even for you), even though some some of you are much sicker than me (in ever so many ways), and some are less sick. Being sick wastes so much time, doesn't it? As for technology, I'm ready to throw my so, called smart phone in the toilet and go back to text'n'talk. I saw one on an ad for AARP that just might be suitable. Robert, I laughed at your gorilla picture. Doesn't scare me in the least. When I was getting a divorce, I decided one gorilla pic I saw (almost like yours) reminded me of my now ex, so I cut it out of the magazine, (old ages, you know), put it on a board and literally used to throw darts at it. It made me feel so much better! Also, Marcia from the Brady Bunch literally went on to be a drug addict, poor girl. Saw her on some talk show when she was just starting her recovery process. It was all very sad. It was about child stars and what happened to them later. A lot became drug addicts. I think Marcia also had a literal falling out with some her fictional sisters. I know there was something else , I can't remember. I'm too old, you know. I'll ask Doug when he comes home, he is younger and wiser than me (about some things) and still remembers everything. He has one year before he is 50 and then ZAP! He will be just like me. I married Doug for his brains ... he will always be younger than me. unfortunately, both our bodies are wearing out pretty equally, though, and unfortunately I forgot about the zap phase. Well, we had 17 good years.
Now I've got to go read my e-mails. All of you be good and get your house work done, like I haven't. I better go find my ol' fav (this is why I don't like smart phones. I put the word tattered in and it "Swyped" it to "tattooed." And it eats words, literally.) At any rate, tattered house coat.
I was actually just being nice up there. I will always be wiser. Yes dear?
I really did miss all of you. Newbies and oldies alike.

Hi Sanni, I am about to go in to the cupboard under the stairs and find my summer clothing and store my winter clothing - that makes me happy. But living in Wellington I need to keep some winter stuff out even in the summer - just in case.

Kirsty, I will miss my favorite cook when you are gone. Teresa, I just saw your message. Off to the p.m.s.:rof::rof::rof:

Good morning Kirsty and Sandy!!!!:ghug: Loves ya gals!

I am making beef stew today in my pressure cooker. First I brown the meat real well, then add some water and onion and beef base, salt and pepper. Then close the lid and cook for 20 min. Then cool it down to where I can open it. Put in some potatoes and carrots and a little cabbage for flavor and a little tomato sauce for extra flavor. Cook it another 5-10 min. Wala, dinner is done!!!
Here's your recipe for the day Robert. I know how you love to cook!!!:lol2:

Yesterday I made stuffed peppers and they were so good! Justdidn't agree with me. The peppers always give me gas!!!:ymad:

Add bay leaves to the stew. Makes very nice flavor.
P.S. Teresa is beautiful, isn't she? Gotta go .. Late..

Nearly finished the area of learning I am working on - only four more sessions to write :ycool:

I also need to sort out some post and get some milk today - otherwise I wont be having cuppas :(

No Bug has gone now - she might have said goodbye though!

Silly man. I told you, I am like a wart. You may think I have dissapeared, but I have dug my roots in and im stickin around!!!! I just decided it was time to ignore my body screaming at me, and get to the office to get some work done! Its cute how hopeful you are though. hehehe

I'M STILL HERE!!!!! :ycool:

I will use your emails as a helmet! If you knew my father in law, you would understand! He's become my father, and I love him dearly, but you must take him with atleast one grain of salt!!!
