Thinking again. Teresa's going to the zoo tomorrow. Maybe we could join her, since we all belong there anyway. (Except me, of course, but i love to watch the monkeys.)

Why don't we just go to Robert's and kill two birds with the one stone?

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ..ha...ha....ha......ha................ha ...........................ha.....................ha bloody ha.

Anyway don't you ladies over do it before your big night on Wednesday.

I thought that was your big night

Well what a worrying time you've had.I don't feel like adding to that except to say.................I don't know what to say actually.I'll wait 'til the mood lightens

Yes it is spooky quiet on here today - thought I was finally going to win the competition - and it would be thoroughly deserved!

Ah, Carol, YOU lighten the mood. Today is going to be sunshine and games (except when a hurricane named Sandy hits the East Coast. Ha ha! They named a hurricane after me.) Montana Teresa, i miss you!

Gotta go get an incident report about Ashley done. ~ sigh~ Then to a school meeting. Stay outta hurricanes until i get back.

Hi,again. Been for my book. It's lying seductively on the table begging me to pick it up.But I'm being really strong and ignoring it.Must finish with Mr.Connolly before I start getting intimate with somebody else.Poor John,I've really enjoyed having him,but what we had is almost over and It's time to take someone new to bed.Maybe this will last a few weeks or months even. But I like variety and am easily seduced.

I am speechless and shocked at the same time. Well................ I ................ who....................... what ............... speechless!

Carol, i have a whole box of Connolly sitting there, right now in my hallway, but he should be in my bedroom.

Hope jbug feels better soon. Good energy your way!

Some good news. My little dogs bloodwork was looking much better. He's getting of his med and we are trying just a diet on him now. So I am very happy abou this. Thumbs up the diet is going to work.

And bad news.. Somehow Robert has been hounting me all day. In my work I handle incomming insurance forms and today I swear there was 10 Roberts. And thats not even a Finnish name not to mention its uncommon here. :ywow:

Well us Robert's need plenty of insurance - wild reckless people that we are. Now Marcia is away for a few days I need someone else to be mean to for a while - fancy the job?

Good news about your dog by the way

Ah,that's very good news Sanni, fingers crossed.I once had a dog with Colitis and diet sorted it.Interestingly, that's how I recognised I had U.C.

Ah but Robert.. these are loan insurances. So basically its just sad people that have lost their jobs that are sending their claims in so they don't lose their homes. Not wild reckles exiting people.
(And no I don't actually think this way):shifty:

And thansk all for the encouregement with my dog. He is so important to me. I will do all I can te help him feel better.

Hope things go well with jBug and her stone. I know someone that had a really bad kidney stone and had a really hard couple of months untill she was feeling better. She also had crohns. So hoping a quick recovery and loss of stone for jBug. An operation might be the fastes way to recovery. For my friend they tried shattering the stones so they come out naturally and she had to get them shattered 3-4 times and was really sick for that time. Poor jBug.

I'm confused what part i can tell, but more involved with JBug than we thought. Really, really send more prayers. Thanks! (No, not drugs)

I am speechless and shocked at the same time. Well................ I ................ who....................... what ............... speechless!

Speechless.....If only that were true !!! Shocked.........be Honest you want to know what happens next.......:shifty::ywow::blush:

Okay, i didn't get post off in time for no one to see it. Looking at Teresa's text message again, i think (i hope) it was okay to say that Jen has a huge kidney stone. Maybe that has something to do with her false positive? I hope her physician who "fired" Jen gets fired by all his patients. Jen, wonder if taking it to the media would show what an axxx he has been. What if we all wrote letters to him telling him how unprofessional he was? Everyone deserves quality healthcare, even if he believed the false positive, which i personally do not? Okay, that is probably extreme for most of us, but i am livid. What happened to"first, do no harm?"

Yes, Carol, Robert is never speechless, unless he gets caught up in his own game too far and has to run away to gather his wits.:rof::rof:

I've just remembered Teresa's at the zoo today, that's why it's quiet.Hope Mike gets lots of photos for us to look at............Angel's quiet too,has she gone to the zoo as well ?It's not time for me to say goodnight yet so I will take THE WIN and see how long it lasts.......

Okay, been to school and back. Ashley sure has a good teacher and school behind her. Helps in raising her when I'm willing to keep her.

I have the official okay to tell you Jen does have a very large kidney stone, that they are going to do surgery on. She also has a very bad infection. She does appreciate the support, prayers and hugs she has received here also. I know that even though she didn't tell me directly. Hugs to all.:ghug: Still pray for her, okay? She has already spent too much time in the hospital.
Angel, where are you? I miss my buddy chats.
I'm going to go take a nap. Up all night. Even had a stupid #~-)<[email protected] having them, but getting better at the fact that i have them.

Lots of prayers for j.bug
Hi Everyone, lots of repartee going on here today.

I just dropped by to pick up the win.....

Hi, a Saturday morning win for me... I also have another real Robert in my life and he is coming for dinner tonight - my cuz - :lol2:

I have a cuz named Robert too. He was one of the biggest troublemakers, along with his twin brother, you ever saw when he was growing up. (He ended up getting a doctorate in education and is doing great now.)

Hey Sandy - How you going? I just had a yummy brunch that hubs cooked. I hope to find some energy to cook some chicken and pumpkin pies today.

Kirsty, actually, I've not felt very well at all lately. But I'm getting better at dealing with not feeling very well.:p I'm hoping to make meatloaf tonight (about the same as Teresa's but for this,i don't measure anything and kinda go heavier on the item of my choice, at the time, and play a little bit with spices. My meatloaf seems to always come out good, though.
I'm also thinking of buying a pressure cooker this weekend. I've been saving my "allowance" for who-know-what, but wanted to get something we could enjoy. Or i could save longer and get patio furniture which is all on sale right now. Winter has pretty much hit here. Not hard, but it is here.
I wish they hadn't named a hurricane after me, (ha ha) that looks like it might hit the East coast and/or gulf coast hard. I'm worried about all of them. I hate storms. I think i have PTSD from when we had a tornado on our roof, with us in the house.
Sorry about the essay.

Hey Sandy - yeah I did notice the name of the Storm - shocking the damage - If you have experienced damage its not a surprise you have some anxieties about it. I just got to sort out the pumpkin - I have made the pastry -all good - but I so have no energy today. I woke up tired, I dont like that

I'm not even near the storm! Teresa and those east of me will prob have at least tons of rain, some flooding. Stay safe, Teresa, etc. Doug will probably be over to your place, he absolutely loves pumpkin pie.

Energetic thoughts sent your way. I think that is one of the hardest part of an illness. The day-to-day being tired. Okay, other part hard too.

How is my humira buddy getting on? He have injection tomorrow? Mine's on Monday and then I head off on Tuesday.

It was supposed to be Thursday, but we both forgot! :)eek:) then I've had some problems, doing it tonight. And Doug is in the bathroom. :rof:

He's status quo, but very tired also.

Maine, Pennsylvania, and DC seem to be the states people are worrying about most right now. Teresa in Pennsylvania.
(Re storm)

Thanks Sandy for all your support, I do appreciate it. Hope the jab goes okay for Doug. I'll keep my eye on the storm - but really want everyone to be safe and I hope it blows itself out before it does major damage.

Hubs is studying hard he has an exam next Friday. He did really well on his assignments got 60% and 90% still got one mark to come. But he is so pleased - he never got a 90 before.

I will miss you all too, I hope I can get on the forum at some stage - otherwise I will get withdrawal symptoms :ylol:

Time for a break now - having a cuppa of Yorkshire tea  Pumpkin all chopped up and ready to go. Got to make a white sauce for the chicken next and then it will be all go when its all nice and cool.

Hubs said we got some internet next week so that is good news

Wonder how Trev got on with the whitebait?

hi Kirsty, im back and my body is shatterd, 6am at the river was too much, at least we have whitebait for dinner, how have you been?

Hi Trev,
I'm great - doing good. Got my jab on Monday. Go to Blenheim for a week on Tuesday and do some work. I missed you on here matey. How much whitebait did you get? You sound like you need a soak in a hot bath and lots of rest.

Yay! I would go thru Kirsty withdrawal if you couldn't at least say hi once. I hope Trev is okay too. Do you remember me telling about a nightmare i had last week (i think it was) about a colonoscopy and running out of toilet paper? Another bizarre dream i had was about (this wasn't a nightmare, just weird), being in a cave that had a stream (not ocean) with whitebait in it. I wanted to stop and try to catch some, but for some reason i couldn't, i was on my way to who-know-where. Even in my dream, it reminded me of Trev. Hi Trev, wherever you are!

Hey, i didn't know you were there, honest! (You know how slow i am at posting. Besides, the kid wanted something, the dog wanted to play tug, Doug discuss a grocery list, then the dog wanted out.)

Hiya!

hi Kirsty, got enough in the freezer for a feed or 2.

Sandy, white come in from the sea and up the rivers to spawn.

Hey that's good - what else did you do while you were away?

I'm just going to make cheese sauce for my pies now. I hope to have enough energy to make some cookies as well

Hey, Kirst, when you have time & energy, would you mind telling me how you make your pumpkin pie? (Recipe.) It sounds a lot different than American pumpkin pie. (I can handle the pastry part.) Thanks!

Sandy, mine is a savoury pie, not sweet. It's just a white cheese sauce, roasted pumkpin and garlic (1 hour in the oven) and chicken meat in to pie casing.

Got it. I could tell it wasn't sweet. It sounds yummy! I really am going to make it next week!

Thanks so much!

I now have five pies in the oven - lunch size and doing a big pie for tea.

I did get out in the garden and dead head a daisybush

Angel! How are ya!?! I missed you! What's going on lately? It's okay to be sad sometimes. I missed you!

Pies out of the oven. A little break and then to make the carrot salad (carrots, cheese grated; celery; currants; roasted peanuts; parsley and dressing)

How is my humira buddy getting on? He have injection tomorrow? Mine's on Monday and then I head off on Tuesday.

I've been battling the fatigue and the D. My Last GI visit we found all my inflammation levels were normal. From the type of D he thinks it may be my gall bladder and not the Crohns. But it still sucks.

Doug, that does suck - no wonder you are battling with fatigue with the D and humira as well. that's no good. I hope it all settles down real soon.

Doug, with my CD when I have inflammation all my blood markers are normal, I have to use the faecal calprotectin test to indicate inflammation. Just a thought - I know that CD is so unique in how it plays out in the human body

Hiya Doug, Kristy, Miss Sandy, somewhere mother Teresa, Rosey Robert, Dusty, Sanni, sleeping GJ, Carol, n last but not least whitefish Trev!!

Had a very busy day. At the zoo all day and then to brother in laws for nephew's birthday. Yacked on the phone for over an hour to a great friend and prayed hard most of the day for Angel and J.bug and all my hurting friends on here. Love you all Stay well darn it!!! I will try to get some pictures for you to see. But i will have to email them as i cant do it on here. The zoo ones are great!!!!!

yeah.. doing pretty good. Had a super busy day, but at least it was a good day. I was really happy to see my Humira in the fridge when I got home from work today. Score! Injection day here I come! (on Monday). I also got to skype with one of my seminary firends for like three hours this afternoon. This friend was so instrumential in helping me when I was so sick and in the hispital with an abscess. She sat with me the whole day (and night) while the docs were trying to figure out what was wrong. We are super tight now and we are plannnig a trip together to Chicago (where we went to school) in February.

Sounds like you had a fun day at the zoo and I can't wait to see the pictures! Hope Angel and J Bug are doing better too.

Thanx for sharing that GJ! It's great to have a good friend. A true friend walks in when everybody else walks out!!!!:kiss:
