Hello Trysha - I am glad you like cricket (being a Brit) - I will work on Scottsma by wearing her down

I used to watch cricket with a gin and tonic or two as well as cheese and crackers. Sometimes I would make sushi and take to the game as well. Also pack a good book or magazine. Morning all, lovely to see you all.

so loooooovely to see you too Aura. love the hair. lol

we are celebrating Memorial day weekend here. A HUGE THANK YOU to our brave men and women who have and still are sacrificing their lives for us.

We love our military men and women here and so appreciate them. I know I do. I married a retired Navy man myself.:hug::hug:

:tank: Happy Memorial Day to you :tank:

We had ours on ANZAC day April 25. Acutally if you saw my hair now you would tell me to put the dye through to hide all the grays peeking out. I have such dark hair but I went white/grey at thirty

I just got mine colored light blonde for summer. I haven't had my actual color since I was 21. heee heeee heee I got cut short into a bob to take 10 years off me as I still have the dreaded chipmonk cheeks from the 13 yrs. when I was on the roids.

Every now and then I think we need a little pick me up don't you agree?

Doug had a lot of gray by the time we married (he was 33). Seventeen years later, and dealing with me,, he is totally gray. Foster daughter just recently said his hair was white. (he he heee!)

(I just looked up whether it is spelled gray or grey, I have seen both. Most Americans spell it "gray," while most Brits, etc., spell it "grey." My ancestry is about 40% British, a full 50% Danish, and the rest a strange mix. But of, of course, once you are born in America, you are American so gray it is.

Doug can't answer, I just shot him. And to answer a question from awhile ago, the dog is an American Boston Terrier. related to a bulldog, though.

That,s good to hear Doug-----

Just dropping in for the win before I go to bed for the night--

Fire is roaring, trying to dry washing inside, and two cats are stretched out asleep on the sofa

Doug won't build me a fire, I'm too lazy to do it myself, so I lose that way; but I'm the last one posting, and now the WINNER HERE!

Our fire is in the sky---very warm day today in Ontario
now for the win---

I'm here - just a bit sore - did my humira today and it hurts like :voodoo:

It's after midnight, but I am like a little kid that doesn't like to go to bed. Now I have time for a win, since most of you got lost.

Hello Sandy

Would not want you going to bed thinking you had a win - you can try again in the morning but for the moment................................winner

:ghug:Tamala, I'm so sorry. my mind is racing, next state over and can't sleep, so I post on this stupid game in this forum. Know that you have a lot of friends here. We are a weird bunch (well, maybe I am), but those going thru a lot get an honorary win for a day. Right guys? After that, all bets are off. Try doing something you like, if you can. My favorite lately is listening to music. You don't have to move much. Hang in there!

Sandy

Nope - we are weird and we love it -- te he he

I speaking for all of myselves :ybatty: Sandy I am often here at wierd hours when I can't sleep. It's great company and cos we are global there is always somewhere here on the otherside of the world from you trying to grab a win

I win!!!!

In response to Aura: You are so right, except one thing. I'm going to fight for Tamala's win until 9:00 am, mountain Pacific time. We are in the same time zone. If she sleeps and doesn't post again until then, she has won because she got some sleep, which I definitely am not getting.

Thank you Sandy. Lol, i am still up in much pain, ya'll know how that goes. Can't sit, lay, stand, puke, cry, nothing to stop constant pain. Oops i need to move my post to "Venting" never- the-less I am still alive to be the winner.

Tamala, Hang in there. Surgery is close, I see. I don't have crohn's myself, but from what my hubby went through for six years before his surgery, I can only imagine. (I have my share of physical ailments so I can empathize.) One doc mis-diagnosed Doug's as IBS instead of IBD, even though he had all the classic symptoms and even a "crohn's mass." When they finally did surgery, about 2.5 feet were also removed, but they really couldn't measure, it came out like a spring it was so constricted.) I have seen the pain, though, and also in other friends here in Utah. Really, hang in there. We are all behind you. As my sister would say, I am sending you "white light."

Good morning, peep, Tamala is wining today.

It took me many years before I could lift my head and look life straight in the eye...yes it does get better, and in the mean time..... have courage to do the best you can, everyday.

Thank you Sandy. Lol, i am still up in much pain, ya'll know how that goes. Can't sit, lay, stand, puke, cry, nothing to stop constant pain. Oops i need to move my post to "Venting" never- the-less I am still alive to be the winner.

Hello Tamala - I wish you all the best - and I would really like to let you win today - but I just can't bring myself to do it - so sorry, but the win is mine

Welcome to this crazy game Tamala. At least I can take the win back from Robert. Smine, smine, smine!

Sorry Gutless but you have fallen at the first hurdle - I am going to wear everyone down until I win this

Hi y'all - had a bit of a crappy sleep too, awake now and not in pain like I was yesterday. I agree with the tramadol statement - I took some yesterday - but I probably waited too long to take it and should have done it sooner rather than put myself through the pain.

Anyway time for a down under win.

Welcome Denise

You had a brief win - who ever posts last here wins. That's all - and we seem to give each other a bit of cheek and light hassle or tease in playfulness.

So welcome aboard... and if you post last you win. But at the moment I win!

So glad I found this group. Anyone who has issues can just read all these posts and get a giggle. Hey does anyone know if you can take Whey Shakes with collegen and Cimzia shots?
