I finally got few hours of sleep last night after 3 days of not sleeping. I really needed it. No, not been sleepin today, been doing all the paperwork for my oldest. Legalizing everything on my end since i couldn't stop her, my's well let her make her choices as a young adult. My love n prayers with her.
 
Morning Angel, I wrote something after your post yesterday - I think its a few pages back now. I am just waiting for nurse to come and remove my catheter and then I go to the doc

I been to doc got 20 days of antibiotics, catheter is out now doing a trial for nurse who comes back to scan me this afternoon.

Have you tried setting up a tent with a sheet and putting a cold mist humidifier in it? It works absolute wonders! - hugs- get well Kristy:hug:
 
Thanks Angel - that is a good idea I will have to see if I have anything to put in the bowl - I do it with a bowl and towel over my head:rof: what am I supposed to put in it?
 
The best is called sitzzer balls from vicks but not sure if they are available over there. A cool mist humidifier under the sheet is best for couple reasons: deeper penetration ( like an ICU tent in hospital) and doesn't breed bacteria which has potential to get into lungs/sinuses like hot/warm mist/water does. They are like a bacteria frenzie breeding ground.
 
Me too, but mine is a hit and run. I've gotta go with Doug to get his 1000th pair of shoes for the year. His feet eat them.

Hi Teresa and everyone! How was that for a fast stop to get shoes (with a side of earrings thrown in ) a stop at the cell phone store, and a stop at the fast food place m already back. (well, five minutes from home.) I'm such a winner!

Hi Teresa, I design learning packages for teachers, managers, owners, around all aspects of teaching for children 0-6yrs. I have been working with adults in early childhood for 12 years now. So I facilitate workshops and coach and mentor people. I am just trying to put it all online now so that I will have less chance of catching infections off people. It's http://www.seniorteacher.com

I didn't sell my big framed lighthouse picture, so I hung it in my foyier today and I love it. You can see it as soon as you walk in the door. I did sell the small one and actually got alot of look sees and compliments on it. Not bad for a shaky old lady~huh?:ylol2::lol:

I'm still here :) We will actually do it cheap so that teachers can afford it. When we develop it for the business sector that is when we will charge more. But my focus is on creating and designing sessions, and then recording them.

I dont get anything until it kicks off next year and then I will get 50% of revenue. So at the moment it doesnt pay, hence the need for me to start earning soon.

If I could earn enough to work from home I would be very happy. The thought of constantly getting infections is not that good. I seem to get a lot - so the crohns may be gone but I get infections instead. The reality of that is that for me I may need a bubble to live in, or wear face masks. I just keep getting infections
 
Angel, no he hasn't been around much today!

Kirsty, that would be great. Does humira cause infections? I think I heard that.
 
Counting my blessings as i c gp tomorrow, am positive i have the wonderful shingles rearing its head!!! OUCHY :voodoo:
 
Where do you have them? i had these weird pimple things on my forehead and under my arms and chest and they hurt. For about 2 months. Is that shingles??? They were in my scalp too.:voodoo:
 
They had like a blister head to them and they eventually crusted and then started to go away, but some left scars on my face!!!!:stinks::eek2:
 
First time in my life, first for the fun loving cold sores/fever blisters too. I AM playing the blame game n its pointing towards Enocort® ugh really, i think I'm way too young for this. :thumbdown::evil:
 
Actually, crohn's causes all these weird manifestations. Many people on here have had shingles. Are they like red with like a blister head that crusts over? Mine left scars on my face! Like a white lump. I had them in my scalp too. Had no idea what they were!:voodoo:
 
I dont know what shingles look like. Yes Humira does make one more likely to get an infection, so does Azathioprine and Prednisone :ybatty:

Sounds like it, or the infamous "crohn" rash manifestation. Shingles are harbored at our nerve endings mainly under breast, back, round ribcage and yes! Even the forehead face down cheek and into eye. They start by tingling typically then intense burning which then manifests into psoriasis looking scabby areas that are on the verge of absolutely intolerable. They can take months of suffering to suppress again even with treatment. However, being blessed with immune issues already, we are lucky enough to have longer duration, more intense symptoms and decreased response to treatment.:evil::worthy:
 
I still have some under my armpits, a little lower and they just don't want to go away!!! They are sore, not itchy! I keep putting xtra virgin coconut oil on them. It is supposed to heal infections and many other things. Kirsty, you should try eating it on toast everyday and cooking with it. It has antibiotic properties that are natural and can actually cure alot of illnesses. look it up.

Sry, was deep in educational thought for a min. From spinal cord in a band around my right side to under my breast. Severe burning, undying pain. Pimply rash....ugh!!
 
Angel, I asked Mike if he would put the star trails on his website soon and he said yes. So I'll let you know when.
 
Walmart carries both. The xtra virgin coconut oil is in the vitamin section and is around $11.00 but lasts a long time. The almond milk is in with the creamers etc... at Walmart. I buy Blue diamond brand and the vanilla flavored one is excellent. I love it!!! It's about $2.68 a half gallon.

Yes it does. I'm told I've been " active" for 30 years but just giving in to massive flare finally. Poor little body couldn't take anymore. I have this cool symptom they're still trying to link ( the yucky kind) where few years ago my toes started tingling burning turning black then parts falling off. Initially they thought a rare type of cancer, oncomycosis ruled out- verdict is manifestation of recurring spreading gan green. :ymad:
 
Oh my gosh Angel!! We have got to pray for you and hard. I will at my group Thurs. God has gotten me thru the toughest times of my life when I wanted to die. My kids were both on heroin for 7-10 yrs. and my daughter is on methadone now but doing well for 5 yrs.:( My son just got out of jail two months ago and weve been praying for him hard. He is drug free so far. So, I believe in prayer.

It's not a big deal, I'm so glad you have him with you thru all you are going thru. I wish we all lived closer so we could actually get together and have a laugh nite with just us gals and cheer eachother up when we're down. I guess this is as good as we can. Do you and Sandy live really far from each other. She is near Salt Lake City?

Been thinkin bout that too. Approximately 10 hours from there. However, if i get new job n can swing it my 20 th high school reunion is coming up n thought about week long road trip. I could hit most ya'll on the way. :ghug:
 
Hi, I am so happy - my Wolfy came back. He ate straight away and was very quiet. I settled him down and got him purring and now he is asleep at my feet. :rof: out like a light and my feet are clean:tongue:

Yes.. I do get a lot of infection.. sigh.. I just can't seem to shake this bladder infection that I've had for like the entire year (or so it seems that way).

I am going to be Emma Swan from the TV show Once Upon A Time. The show is a moden twist on all of the old fairy tales. The premise of the show is what would happen if all of the fairy tale creatures we ever knew got sent to our world. Emma is the heroin and in the first season she breaks the curse, but once the curse was broken, everyone remained in our time and did not go back, so this season we trying to figure out why they did not return home.

Also, Emma has a simple costume. A white undershirt, red blazer, jeans, boots, a sheriff's badge and a sword. I have all of that but the red blazer and sword.
 
I would be if I was her! I did make her laugh once or twice! What did you have good to eat? I'm getting hungry again. I made meatloaf today.

Sounds great! We have a new show too about the fairytales called "Once Upon a Time" I think. My sister said it wasn't very good.
