Hi Kev,
Sorry for delay in responding. No, she has a lot of letters after her name and is the technical expert for Cytoplan Limited. I will respond to her email and ask her where her information comes from.
I hadn't noticed any difference with taking L Glutamine but it purports to heal the gut more quickly. As for the LDN, my abdomen is still sore to the touch, so I guess that I'm not in remission yet. However I am mainly having normal BMs and my blood results are all within normal range now, apart from my liver function test but my consultant thinks that is the LDN.
I was really just wondering whether it would be better to stop the l Glutamine in view of what she said. However, I don't want to make things any worse, or else my consultant won't want me continuing with the LDN as he is quite anti. It was just my powers of feminine persuasion that caused him to relent!
Inam also concerned about the LDN in that I am now on my third lot of 60 capsules. Each time, the expiry date shows October of this year. I asked my consultant to as for freshly compounded LDN for the last repeat prescription - which he did. However, when I picked it up, it had the same expiry date as the last two prescriptions. I think that is highly suspect. I mentioned it to my consultant and he shrugged and said we'll never know.
The hospital send it off to a specialist company - Martindales - who I think are also in the USA? Theynwon'tvtalk to the public, somI asked the hospital pharmacy. They said it was freshly compounded, but how are they to know?
Oh we'll - I should presumably be in less and less pain as time goes on - but my three months on LDN is up on 18th March. Do you remember how you felt after the three month period had expired?
Best get on with some work now!
Kind regards,
Sally
