There was a young man from Peru

There was an old chicken a peckin' in the road

Little did she know, she was watched by a toad

The toad sat and leered

As a car veered

vicious swerve and poor chicken did explode

So the moral of the tale

is that chickens who are old and frail

 

[Aura]

Should be like the toad

On the road, there was also a turtle

Her name was Elizabeth Myrtle

And she was involved in a race with a hare

off down the road she did tear

Her Mum said, 'please walk dear, don't hurtle.'

There was an old bird with a stutter

Who was also a bit of a nutter

she'd fight with her shadow

Arrive with a cadeau

and fall about laughing in the gutter

There once was a very old snail

at drinking beer he never did fail

It made him young

but sliding off the rung

He fell to the floor and thought he should bail

but did you notice that the kiwi's wins everytime..

I once had a race with a bear!

I was strong and showed no fear

until I tripped!

And did a flip

what! you did a flip.....like down on you hands and you feet up in the air...wow...said he ..that was brave,,,and with that the bear went.............

There was an old lady from Paris

and the bear went..........

Who drove a Toyota Yaris

the bear stood in her way

its only a silly old bear she said.......

And ran over the bear who was called Claris

When walking up the frog and toad

Arrived at last to my abode

His problems did mount

There was a young bear at the zoo

He did not know what to do

He tried climbing a tree

But the tree skinned up his knee

so he stuck the skin back with glue

So he gave the tree a big kick

And unfortunately broke his big toe

and he tripped over the hoe

and his neck he did crick

There once was a man, standing in the rain

who bought her clothes at 'Flouncy'

In a size extra large

that would cover a barge

She paraded the lawn looking jouncey

there once was a fellow named Bob
