hi everybody, diagnosed with crohns approx 7 years ago, 6 operations and many infusions of infliximab later, i am now on methotexterate, ...........been on methotexterate 2 years now and everything seems okay/ get bloods checked every 3 month and seems okay no issues, but i read and made aware that i should not be drinking alcohol with methotexterate, any comments/views please would be appreciated,

Hi,
I dont recall there is an interdiction to drink alcohol on methotrexate.
Your medical history (CD + multiple surgeries) appears to me to be more of a reason to be cautious with alcohol.
