Hi Folks
I am very new to this forum and thought I would say hello.
I've had problems off and on for about 10 years, the last 10 months have been pretty bad. Painful cramps, and feeling sick every day at some point.
Doctors have told me I have IBS but it feels like so much more, pain every day. And the more I research Crohn's disease, the more I feel I have it as I have almost every symptom.
I also have bilateral symmetrical sacroilitis which I have read is related to Crohn's. I'm still reading and learning, and supposed to see a specialist hopefully soon. Hoping to get more answers.
Wondering how when others found out, if medications and such help that much. I've tried many things, can take 10 - 12 immodium and have no relief. With pain and sickness every day this has pretty much taken over my life. I've developed anxiety over it and as a result, rarely go out other than work or quick trips around town.
I would love to know there's light at the end of the tunnel, and one day I can go out for the day, eat at a restaurant, go for a walk, go for a drive.... and not get sick.
Thanks everyone for all the posts and information shared on the forum. I've read through some and look forward to learning more.
Cheers!
