When I was 16, I was diagnosed with a chronic illness that causes to me pass out at random times. It had taken me until I was 21 to come to terms with this and finally get things under control. I finally got my meds straightened out... I finally felt like I got my life under control and I was starting to feel "normal".
Until I turned 22 three weeks ago. Around that time I started getting extreme pain any time I ate anything. After a colonoscopy, they found more than 40 ulcers lining my digestive track, even going up to my esophagus. My doctor diagnosed me with crohns, so here I am. Trying to piece together how to go about living day to day with TWO chronic illnesses.
The hardest part about this is that it is going to hinder my school. I am currently a full-time graduate student, but because I have missed so much class these last two weeks and I am not improving as fast as I would want, I will have to drop at least one class. This will prevent me from getting my masters degree in 2 years and possible hinder my career plans.
My main questions is how do I jump start into this crohns lifestyle?
