My Seton is falling out

I had a Seton placed four weeks ago and now is seems to be falling out? The loop is basically hanging down, pretty far too. Does anyone know if this is normal and ok? My surgeons office is closed today and I am not sure if I should call my GI. I did a quick google and I saw a couple of sites where people say it is ok. Why do these things always happen right before the weekend! Thanks in advance for your help!

I had one back in 2004 and it lasted I think a few months before it came loose and snapped. I don't think they are made to last for long, but luckily with the remicade and anti-biotics I was on I didn't need the seton for very long and everything healed up.
