Very tired but diagnosed as mild to moderate chrons
My Va gastro keeps saying it's the safest
maybe because i have a stent in my heart ?
Don't know
So confusing.
When I do the EN ensure nutrition ..the diahreaa goes completely away though
calprotectin went from 169 -190
chron's diagnosed via colonoscopy .

Any meds you take include Tylenol may not work .
If they don’t work then you know
Ideally you stay on een until the maintenance med has had enough time to kick in .
Fecal caloprotectin when your in remission is almost undetectable (less than 15 )
My son’s fecal cal has been consistently less than 15 when he takes his meds on time (Stelara and methotrexate )
When the Stelara was spaced out to every 6 weeks instead of 4 weeks his fecal cal was 169 I believe .
Over 50 is borderline
Over 120 is inflammation present .
Get a second opinion if you need it
But 160 is not remission
Good luck

Thanks for the reply ? Does tylenol or aspirin or something reduce the inflammation and make me less tired ? What do you think of vedolizimab ...that's what they want to put me on

Tylenol or aspirin does not reduce the inflammation in your gut .
My child has not taken vedolizimab .
He also has juvenile arthritis so Vedolizimab is not an option.
He needs to treat both the crohns and arthritis.
He takes Stelara instead .
