New here

I've been looking through posts here for the last few weeks and have finally decided to tell My Story. Not really sure where to start... Okay so 4 1/2 yrs ago I felt a large lump in my throat. Went to docs. Biopsy done. No cancer but lots of grapelike clusters of nodules. Nodules grew and were interfering swallowing. Thyroidectomy in april 2010. 6 months later had some stomach pains. nothing severe mostly during intercourse. Thought it was my IUD so had it remove and started birth control. From there I started having nausea and vomiting. thought maybe that was from the thyroid mds and birth control I was taking. Then started having swelling 2 1/2 yrs ago in my toes ankles feet and some tendonitis in my Achilles. Went to foot doc who gave cortisone shots in my feet..... Worst pain ever.... All along was having loose stools but on a regular basis. I mean like 1-2 times a day. Just assumed it was from the Pepsi I was drinking that was making it not formed. And a small amount of dermatitis on my leg that I got a steroid cream for from the dermatologist That brings me to June of 2013 when I started having lots of joint pain in my feet knees hips shoulders hands and wrists. I was also very fatigued. In general just did not feel good. Made an appt with my endocronolgist who said it was probably a little tendonitis or arthritis to follow up with my PCP. which I did. Ran a bunch of blood work my B12 and calcium where a little low. she suggested taking vitamins and see if I felt better. By September I thought I was going to die. I was in so much pain and the diarrhea was worst. Especially at night. I was not sleeping at all. Went back to PCP who referred me to Rhuematologist since I didn't tell them about the diarrhea. he drew blood and gave me ibuprofen which I know now was not a good idea. figured I better say something about the loose stool. Went to GI. Had a horrible colonoscopy. Very painful. More blood work and a CT. colonoscopy showed ulcer and a stricture. Biopsies were normal. waiting to hear back from second pathologist. blood work showed some things off. Creactive protein red blood count. but nothing crazy off. CT showed multiple strictures and a fistula. GI gave prednisone and 2wks of flagyl and cipro. Still taking lower dose of flagyl. Appt next week with a doc that my GI referred me to. Said he would be able to better serve me as he is a specialist in Crohns. Still not officially diagnosed but GI is very sure that is what it is.

I guess if I have any ?s now it would be if there is anyone who has any thyroid disease along with Crohns. DO you think they are connected in someway.

Thank you to all who took the time to read....

I don't know yet but I've been diagnosed with Crohns since 2010 and they just found a tumour on my thyroid. Had a biopsy done yesterday and will get the results in a week. I do know that if it's cancerous, I have to stop my Remicade.
