New to Forum not to Crohns

Hi there.

Dealing with it for 15yrs, off and on, up
Down,long bouts short bouts.

This last flair up, is a doozy.
Pure liquid movements every1/2 hour.

I take 800 ml of Asacol 3 times a day.
Never stop this, and occasionally like
Once a year or two when mucus and blood
Shows up I would take prednisone
Asacol usually keeps things at bay but I'm going to the
bathroom so often the pills are not
Dissolving at the moment.

First time I've seen that.

So I have decided to grab some boost
And store bought smoothies, for energy
Because food is not fun with the added gas to
The runs..... lol

So for the last 6 days I have had very minimal
Amounts of food if any some days.

I usually go on a stricken, banana, rice
Unsweetened apple sauce, and I swear
Bananas are a cure aid! Just 2 a day.

So I'm gonna give the fasting a few more
Days and then go on my mild diet.

Well that my story in a nut she'll.

A friend of mine works for a nutrition store
That pushes herbals etc.

She is trying to get me to try a product
called Intestinew.

It probably can't hurt but I am reluctant.

Does any one have experience good or
Bad with this product?

Any incite will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Rick

Haven't tried intestinew. I am also Asacol HD 800mg two tablets three times daily. Have been in remission for awhile now. My Calprotectin fecal test came back with a result of 16. Hoping the Asacol continues to work for me.nGood health to you.
