One side of belly swelling

I've been having really bad pain on my lower right side, it comes and goes, and after I eat it is terrible!!! I've noticed that the right side of my belly is larger than the left, its also warm to the touch. I don't think its a blockage because I am still using the bathroom- anyone have experience with something like this?

You could certainly have inflammation or a partial blockage. Mine behaved very much like that. Switch to a soft or liquid diet to see if it alleviates your symptoms. You can still pass waste with a partial. If you start vomiting, it may require a visit to the emergency room. Treat it carefully, and keep good note of your symptoms for your next GI visit.

i've been having pain for the last few months on my lower right side also, often severe. It is due to inflammation of my ileum. I try to watch my diet which helps- avoiding anything wholegrain/seeds/raw veg. If i over indulge the pain gets a lot worse. Im currently on prednisone and just started humira. i hope you feel better soon!
