Maybe. It probably depends on whether the oral bacteria can make it alive past the acid in the stomach to then infect the gut. If you have very low acid in your stomach for some reason or you have a very rugged, acid-resistant bacterium in your mouth, the chances of also spreading to the gut are increased.
