Pain & bleeding after colonoscopy/polypectomy

Hi all,
I have been diagnosed with crohns colitis for 10 years. On Lialda for most of that and Humira for last 3 years.

I had 3 polyps removed and biopsies taken 3 days ago and have been bleeding and in pain since. The pain is spasmodic and the blood is mostly clots but some watery too.

It feels like a flare but I'm wondering if the 3 polyps removal (they were small) has caused this.

Anyone had this happen after a polypectomy?

I have emailed my GI so hopefully he will contact me tomorrow.

Some bleeding can be normal after polyps/biopsies are taken. I would definitely follow up with your doctor if it is still occurring.

Thank you, the bleeding and pain continue along with diarrhea. Dr has prescribed budesonide which I've had before.
