Holy Crap! Tons of photos. I wonder what kind of determination and hard work it took to get their bodies that way.
Time and effort will get you there! The biggest problem is eating the correct foods. I am not saying don't quit the soda and snacks, but try to eat/ drink less than you normally do and you could be amazed. Not sure if those made me feel better (as in it's possible to look that good) or worse (about the current size of my ass!!)
I have been doing some "hot yoga" lately, but it kicked my ASS last night. I think if I can stay motivated it might make a difference... I would like to look like Jennifer Aniston! I have her old hairdo, does that sorta count? LOL
I really really want to, but I don't think that's enough time to prepare. If you want I can send them to your email just pm me if you'd like. BTW anyone doing the half marathon in Vegas?
I am going to an info meeting about it on the 18th to see what all is involved before I jump in.
Its Dec 4th, that should be plenty of time to be able to run say 6 of it and walk the rest or just walk it all? I think it will be a great time!I really really want to, but I don't think that's enough time to prepare.
Good luck with that, every time I have dried i just get toned, eat like a horse but in the end I couldn't afford to eat the much that is needed to truly bulk up. Then of course once i am on a roll I either get sick or injured... crappy circle of working out.Brb. Let me turn into the Hulk. Give me a few years.
I was sort of joking when I said what I said.Good luck with that, every time I have dried i just get toned, eat like a horse but in the end I couldn't afford to eat the much that is needed to truly bulk up. Then of course once i am on a roll I either get sick or injured... crappy circle of working out.
Ergh, I know how you feel. Putting months into getting stronger, then losing it all in a few weeks from a flare up. Music seems to be a better motivator than images for me, I guess because you can't just look away. These are really nice motivators though.defo some good motivation pics and quotes in this thread. im one of these people that find it hard to get motivated to have a work out, especially after a long day and work and even more so (in the UK) that its getting colder and the nights are drawing in.
ive gone for a gym set up in my garage and one thing i was going to do was print off some of the things people have said in the past when i havent seem them for ages (friends from school, uni etc), and hang them up on the wall. some of the things that people have said that has made me really hit the weights and cardio hard are:
"god, youve lost weight"
"blimey, youve lost all your muscle"
"i take it you dont go down the gym anymore"
"that tops too big for you"
i seem to have put quite a bit of weight back on, and it seems to be gathering up in the wrong places, and what with starting remicade in a few weeks, im hoping, with fingers crossed, that it will put me in remission and i'll be in my gym/garage non-stop.
i also think music is a great motivator - so i'll have the stereo in there linked to my ipod with the house music banging!!
