Purpura anyone

Ds is getting purpura again
Purple or red ovals ( size of standardized test oval ) on the Back of his legs behind the knee - so not a bruise
Three behind the right knee in Monday
And one behind the left knee
Plus a few on the other side in a line.

He has had them before but it's been a while
Once they followed a vein up his leg

Anyone else have this ??
He sees Rheumo later next week

Wow, hasn't he had enough lately?!?!? :ymad: Poor kid! :ghug:

I'm pretty sure I remember you mentioning the 'rash' behind his knee - how was it treated last time?

:ghug:

Wasn't treated last time
Just disappeared
And now it back
Since no one can agree on what it is
Dermo last time said it was early form
Of inflammation in the skin from crohns and humira was getting rid of it
Rheumo didn't agree
So not sure what it is and whether I should be concerned
It's not much doesn't bother him
Just plain weird

Hopefully, it's nothing important and will just disappear on its own! But, always a bit disconcerting when no one can give you an explanation. :ghug:
