Recently diagnosed, new here!

Hello everyone- I was just diagnosed with Crohn's "officially" yesterday. After a stay in the hospital last month due to what they called "colitis" instead was actually a Crohn's flare, I was referred to a GI specialist and had undergone multiple procedures and labs. Went back yesterday for all the lab reports, biopsies, and diagnostic test results. They were pretty sure I had Crohn's and had already started me on Pentasa and Entocort in May,but clarified it yesterday. Before my stay in the hospital I had multiple occasions with similar symptoms that were severe but not to the point of needing to go to the hospital plus I was pregnant so they thought it was "gallbladder" related and once even thought it was a kidney stone. This last time finally put me in the hospital so in a sense I am relieved to finally know what has been the culprit to my symptoms. I am already feeling somewhat better but my GI said I wouldn't really know much until I am off the steroids.. that makes me nervous. I have to be on them for 3 more months. I am afraid that once I get off them that I will revert right back. Any who enough about me. Pray you all are doing well today!
