So sorry to hear you're flaring. Did your doctor say any specific med(s) s/he's wanting to use? Remicade and Humira are two commonly used biologics - there is more info on them in the forum wiki, and here are their subforums:
Humira - http://www.crohnsforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=59
Remi - http://www.crohnsforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=58

Also, CCFA has a great webinar a few weeks back - "What's Best for Me: Treatment Options in IBD". You should be able to sign up to watch the archive here: http://www.ccfa.org/resources/webcasts.html

Hope that helps!

Hi there and welcome to the community. I'm sorry to hear of your current struggles :(

It sounds like a biologic may indeed be the best bet for you. Did your specialist say which one they want to try?

All my best to you.

No word yet I'm going to see him in a few days so hopefully find out and get started on something soon.
It's getting to the point where I'm willing to try anything,I can't eat anything without causing pain I'm pretty much on a liquid diet at the moment.

:( I'm so sorry to hear that. The various meal replacement shakes can be a good substitute for people who are stuck on liquids if you're not on something like that right now. It'll help you get all the nutrients you need.

Please keep us updated as to how you're doing.

Was rushed in again Monday with severe pain and vomiting bit was discharged due to my crp going down on ots own, probably because I wasn't eating when I was in hospital.
The nurse in the ward mentioned that was the 9th time this year I was admitted,I'm now waiting for an xray of my small bowel as an outpatient. The pain is unbearable I'm now on tramadol.
