Remicade and Parenting

Since I'm flaring bad now, my doctors are suggesting the option of Remicade to me.

I am male, and have been married for a year now. We are planning on trying to have a baby, when my flare struck and we had to halt things down.

My concern now, is if I start Remicade, does it have any effect on the baby? Any experiences with this? My doc says it is Ok, but I'm not so sure with such a strong medicine??

Hi Mazen,
I'd say if the doc says its fine then it is fine. I'd be concerned if you were a woman, but since you aren't just go ahead and make babies!
Even try and get one made now before you start remicade?

I was on Remicade throughout my pregnancy and had a healthy baby!
