Hi everyone,
I'm 18 years old and I weigh 120 lbs at 5 ft 4.5 inches. This is considered normal, but I feel so different. I've been on remicade for a while now (currently on 10mg/kg every 4 weeks... We'll see how it goes). I've never weighed this much ever. Before I was diagnosed with Crohn's, I'd usually be around 115 lbs. It's so frustrating because I either feel super skinny (when I was 100 lbs during gun a flare up) or I just feel uncomfortable when I start weighing around 120 lbs. I hate feeling like this. After getting remicade, I for sure see a difference in my appetite and I feel like my body is finally absorbing the food I eat. Does anyone have this weird feeling with their body and weight while on remicade? I don't feel the same anymore. Before when I would eat, I wouldn't care how much I was eating. Now, I'm scared of how much to eat because I feel like I'm going to keep gaining weight. I don't know if it's just a phase I'll get over or something that will keep bugging me. If anyone wants to share a similar situation, that'd help a lot.
