ATA < 1.7U/mL

My diagnosis is Crohn's Disease - April of 2018 - Stricture and inflammation of the Terminal Ileum.

Humira Pen Injections once a week from August 2020 to present.

Thanks, Lynda

Okay, I'm no expert but it appears that the humira in your blood has dropped over the past couple years but the antibodies remain the same. Are you feeling any symptoms. Will your specialist be reviewing the results with you? Can you confirm your 03/10/2021 levels- it looks like you might have not put the correct amount for the ADA?

Jo-mom, Thank you for your help. I was in the ER ( and then admitted to the Hospital for 24 hours ) two weeks ago for Crohn's related symptoms. I had a CT scan with contrast at the Hospital. The Hospital doctors decided it was a Crohn's flare and not an obstruction. My digestive system can only tolerate a full liquid diet at this time. I saw my Gastroenterologist today as a follow-up to my ER / Hospital stay. When I saw that the Humira levels looked good on my blood test from early March, I got confused as to why I am feeling so sick now. I gave stool samples to the Lab today, per my Gastroenterologist orders, to check for Fecal calprotectin, Giardia, C-diff. I will see my Gastroenterologist next week to discuss the stool test results. I am very curious as to what the stool test results will be. I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease 3 years ago, but have had problems with my digestive system for 24 years ( previously diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in 2006.) The past 3 years have been going pretty well for me with the Humira, but my previous two calprotectin level tests were almost 700. Recently I have been diagnosed with latent TB and now I must take an antibiotic called Rifampin every day for four months, starting March 12. This year these new health issues have come up and it is disappointing to me. Sorry this is so long, I am way off topic. Take Care and Stay Healthy. Lynda. : - )

There is a possibility that you may have lost response to Humira, but you are dealing with other health issues so who knows. At least you are getting those tests done and you are on top of things. Good luck - I hope you feel better soon.
