Shoulder pain

I have a bowel resection Monday the 16th. Was discharged yesterday, Friday. Since waking up Monday after surgery, i have been experiencing pain in both shoulders, always alternating. I was told by surgeon that this may be a result of CO2 used during surgery. Has anyone experienced this? Not debilitating but very annoying, keeping me from sleeping well. I was thinking along the lines of subcutaneous emphysema, but cannot feel crepituce upon exam. Only when moving shoulders. Any help appreciated.

Its been a while but I have had that. From what I recall walking and time finally got rid of it.
