So Hypothyroidism wasn't my answer, What is causing my Chronic Constipation?

:shifty-t: So, back again :(, had really hoped the outcome regarding me having hypothyroidism and being treated for it would be my answer, alas whilst that is in the normal range now. I'm still defienct in iron, calcium and in particular Vitamin D (apparently even when taking tablets I'm borderline with iron and calcium and my Vit D has had negligible improvement.

I also still have chronic constipation even though I'm taking celevac, milk of magnesia and prucalopride. Basically, back to square one (seems any form of lax's effects wear off on me in about a month of taking them)- however, positive is that I've been sent to St Mark's, so hopefully they will make head and tail of the issue :) (and I'll finally have a proper bowel transit done- :dusty: odd how my local nhs didn't, nor take a stool sample but yeah, baffled I am).

I just wondered if anyone else had a similar experience, and if so what was the outcome?
