So scared that it may be a start of a flare

for the past 9 months I've been on remicade and Imuran and for the last few days I've been feeling sick. No D or but cramps in my lower right side and a feeling of fullness. I'm so scared that this is just the beginning of something bad again. I was doing okay and I'm so scared about being on Prednisone again. I've called my Doctor and spoke to his nurse, she said they wouldn't do anything just yet. When is it bad enough to go in? I feel so defeated.

I know how you feel. I've been on imuran for year and a half and currently in bed with hot water bottle... Feeling sick and throat down to stomach feels inflamed. We are currently trying to concieve so a flare up is the last thing I want.

I'm hoping bed rest, and a few choice medications will help me.. I have some Omperazole and buscopan left which I stopped taking about a year ago. Try a bland diet too.

Hi there and welcome to the community!

That's one of the hardest parts of having a chronic disease... you don't know when it is the disease and when it is a "normal" ill feeling. My heart goes out to you.

Please keep us updated as to how you're doing. You're in my thoughts.
