Sudden intensification of disease

I am an asian Indian male of 58 years and my Crohns/Colitis was diagnosed 25 years ago. The first few years were very symptomatic with bloody diarrhea and anal fistulas. Over these 23 years, the symptoms had ameliorated enough that I was rarely concerned about them. But I had the disease with me inherently and had two cases of intestinal abscess in 2009 and in 2021. For both these occasions, my mild symptoms worsened by a day. I was having non-stop vomiting and I was rushed to the hospital where the doctors did a bowel resection to cut off the abscessed part. Between 2009 and 2021 I was on 6-mp (mercaptopurine) and from 2021 on wards I was on Inflectra.

I was enjoying lack of symptoms from 2021 until two months ago, since when things have taken a worse turn. I am getting increased symptoms of blood and pus in my stool. Frequency have increased and urgency have returned in my bowel movements. It is making me scary for the first time in 20 years. My CRP is about 0.2 and Fecal Calprotectin is 400.

I dont really know what could be the reason for this sudden return of the disease after 20 years of mildness. The only differentiating factor that I can think of is that I switched from inflectra to Avzola since May 2023. (past 5 months). Since the flare up I am taking steroids as a temporary measure till my next Inflectra infusion (I will be switching to Inflectra).
