Symptoms attributed to IBD?

Just curious, are any if these symptoms attributed to IBD? Should I bother mentioning them to the specialist when I see him or does it just come woth the territory?

* Night sweats
* Joint pain (knees in particular)
* Numb hands and feet occurring quickly while resting
* Jaw clenching
* Resting heart rate over 100 at times

Just wondering really if these things can all be down to whatever is going on with my gut or whether it's worth seeing my gp about separately.

Thanks

Particularly the night sweats and the joint pain could be attributed to IBD. You also might check out the section in here called Extra Intestinal Manifestations. For the joint pain, you might see a rheumatologist. You might mention these symptoms to your GP. What medicines are you on? I know I used to have some numbness when I was on Flagyl.

The first two definitely are associated with IBD. The night sweats could be due to IBD-related fever.

I haven't heard a lot about the other three in reference to IBD. Jaw clenching and racing heartbeat could be due to anxiety. Although a lot of things can make your heart race, Afib for example.

I find it's always best to mention everything. Unfortunately with Crohn's having ways of effecting your whole body and with all the drugs we tend to be put on having systemic side effects, it's hard to track down the causes sometimes. But I figure doctors can only help you, or do will do their best to anyway, with all the information. Or multiple, seemingly unrelated symptoms could lead to figuring out a root cause or better treatment. You never know if you keep it to yourself.

Thanks everyone. No meds as yet as still waiting to be diagnosed but I'm 99% sure it is IBD. I see the specialist next week so I will mention it all to him. Thanks again!
