Hello

I have crohns disease (ileum and perianal). I've failed adalimumab and after trying to persevere with Infliximab for 9 months, have now failed Infliximab. I have an anal fistula with seton in place, but this has had to be replaced twice in less that 6 months due to breakdown of the seton or my perianal area due to frequent incontinence and frequent bowel movements.

My surgeon has discussed a temporary ileostomy. I'm wanting to know people's experiences of this and if you found this led to an improvement in your quality of life.

Medically the plan is to try Skrizi, but I'm aware this either works very well or doesn't work and it can take 6-9 months to have an impact.

Any help or experiences would be appreciated
