Hi Megan20 and welcome to the forum! :D Sorry for the late reply.

Lymphocytic colitis is an IBD that is a subtype of microscopic colitis. You can read more about it here: http://www.crohnsforum.com/showthread.php?t=18407, http://www.crohnsforum.com/wiki/Lymphocytic-Colitis and here http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/microscopic-colitis/DS00824/DSECTION=treatments-and-drugs

One of our Co-Founders of the forum, David, has Lymphocytic Colitis as well. I've never heard of anyone "growing out of it" but Mayo Clinic (in the link above) does say, "Microscopic colitis may get better on its own without treatment." May is a key word though. It may not as well. Although I don't think they meant that it goes away completely or won't come back in the future as it is a life long disease but can go into long periods of remission. Who said you might grow out of it?

What symptoms are you currently having? Did your doctor suggest a course of treatment?

You'll find lots of other members who have it as well in the Microscopic Colitis subforum: http://www.crohnsforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=258 Edit: I see you found a couple of those links already. ;)

Keep us posted on how you're doing. :ghug:
