Ulcers in terminal ileum

Hi everyone,

Just needed to get your opinion on my story.

I have had abdominal cramps (lower right side) for a few weeks now and I have had a colonoscopy that showed a small ulcer in the terminal (other than that, everything was normal). The doctor took biopsy samples and told me that the results showed no signs of crohn's.

Did anyone experience this before? Should I be worried and take a second opinion?

I have had similar pain before and my colonoscopy showed nothing. Since there is an ulcer involved in your case, I would try to get answers regarding what could have caused it. Whatever you do don't be too worried, stress is a negative thing for everyone. I would consider getting another opinion from a GI specialist if you don't get anywhere with your current doc. Best wishes, you have my support.
