Unsure

Hi, I am new to this forum. I am as yet undiagnosed. I had many different symptoms and most pain and diarrheah alot and they did do a colonoscopy 3 yrs ago or so. Said there was mild inflamation in my ileum.I felt like I had to go all the time and almost didn't make it many times. I am 26 and feel like noone understands. My Mom says it's because I eat wrong. But, I eat healthy vegies and fruits and try not to eat alot of junk. But somtimes I do eat junk. Can this be causing my problems? I am on D medicine my Dr gave me and it does help.:)

If there is mild inflammation in your ileum, then you should see a GI specializing on IBD and have you checked out thoroughly, especially if you have other symptoms like diarrhea and abdominal pain. You can never say what it is from just a few symptoms, so better have a specialist check it out.

Have you seen a dietitian - unfortunately healthy fruit and veg can sometimes make our problems worse, especially if they are raw.

Oh, I thought you were supposed to eat healthy. I did see a guy who was supposed to be a Gasterinterologist. He said it could be from taking advil too mcuh. Not too worry. I quit taking it for a long time. But still get the same old problems. I guess maybe I should go see him again. Thanks for your help you guys.

Don't ever feel guilty about seeking a second opinion, it may save your life! Be sure you are seeing someone who listens to you. I have had good luck with researching me a on vitals.com
