Vram

Two years ago i had my jpouch and rectum removed and since then i have been dealing with the same issue. An Abscess formed where the jpouch use to set and it connects to a tunneling wound coming out my bottom( where my rectum was removed). I have already had 4 surgeries to try and get the area to close and heal but all of them have failed. My surgeon is wanting to do a VRAM surgery and i just worried that this surgery might be to invasive especially since there is no guarantee it will work. has anyone on here had a VRAM surgery? did it work? Are you happy with the outcome and how things look? did you have any complications? Any info you can tell me about your experience is helpful. TIA
