Awesome, I'm so happy you liked it too! My 2 sons saw them at a music festival in Arkansas this past summer. And they turned me onto them :) The cool thing is one son plays the guitar and the other plays the mandolin and our daughter plays the violin, so I'm trying to get them to learn this song! Wouldn't that be thrilling!

Going against type with this one

Britney Spears- Hold It Against Me

Okay. Can we say baby dubstep? That beat is kind of sick, at least up through the break!

...back to what I was listening to before Brit Brit. REM- Fables of the Reconstruction (gotta save face somehow, haha)

Phish- Reba Jam 10.31.96 Atlanta

Yeah, I jumped from Lauryn Hill to Phish. I had to include this because I was at this show. If you could see directly behind the band, that's where I was. Not on stage. No, I was behind the stage! So I didn't actually see them, haha. But the show was intense! If you know Phish, then you know that their Halloween shows were super epic! Remain in Light was the second set. Very cool!

She's a British women who reminds me of Jann Arden, her newest CD is "21".

Also was a big Rush fan and when I lived in Southern Ontario in the late 70's got to see them a number of times.

great tunes

Wake-Up Bomb- R.E.M.

After being really disappointed with "Collapse Into Now" I keep pining for another Monster.. especially since Accelerate kicked so much ass.

pwndkake - Nice w/ the REM. We have a lot of similar tastes, I always check this thread when I see that you've posted! :) I agree, Collapse Into Now was a bit disappointing, but I did love the collab between REM and Peaches.

...I think I'll listen to it right now!

The last three to pop upon the playlist were:
All Tomorrow's Parties (Demo- Lou Reed, not Neko) - The Velvet Underground
Isolation - Joy Division
Crush With Eyeliner- REM

Grounded- Pavement

Been listening to a lot more Pavement lately.. I'm trying to use it as motivation to learn guitar (simple chord progressions, nothing too fancy, just loud overdriven sound.)
