What is YOUR weather like today??

Crohn's Disease Forum

Help Support Crohn's Disease Forum:

Wet, windy and rather dull out today. Managed to get a bit of weeding done yesterday, but today is so showery i'm not going to bother. The yellow thingy was about when i woke up but it has since retired to it's room in the sky. Actually it gets quite dark at times. Perhaps a good thunderstorm is due, i'd like that. More than likely though it's the heavy downpours that we are expecting. I'll opt for housework and a book today and watch the footie tonight (and whoopppeee, England tomorrow). Hope you have a nice day all

Quite overcast today. No rain but the cloud cover dropped the day time temp. Rain on Friday and Saturday.
Another great white attack on the central NSW coast yesterday afternoon. A young surfer nearly lost his arm Fortunately it is school holidays down there and two holidaying doctors got to the guy in time and applied first aid to stop the bleeding and saved his life. It was only a three meter shark but even at that size whites are extremely dangerous. The humpback whale migration is in full swing. It is hard to confuse a surfer with a baby whale . Unfortunately juvenile great whites don't seem to be very smart. Ron.

Cold and gray 9C. Glad I closed the windows when I first noticed the chill late last night. Yesterday it went to 31C and today we will unlikely reach 20C. It will warm up later in the week, but the concern is that there is no rain in the forecast and things are very dry now for a large part of the region and country. On the upside, the biting flies took a good hit with the recent warm spell.

It's been muggy here today with overcast skies, a low of 17c and a high of 27c... Currently with a humidex of 33c.
I'm happy to hear you're doing well with the second jab, Buff.
I hope you had a bit of fun in the garden, Diane.
Carol, I would hug you for real but it would just make us both sweat more...

Peace To The Middle East!

Whoopeee!!! England are in the finals for once. Don't think we will beat Italy, but I shall enjoy watching it on tv. Today i must try and make my place look pristine for electrician check tomorrow. I simply don't have a pristine place lol, i need energy for that and i went to hospital yesterday and did gardening then got too enthusiastic during the match. I'm absolutely shattered.

It's warm with humidity today. Not sunny at all though. Think we have more showers on the way though. Buff, that's quite chilly for July isn't it? And Ron, it's nice to hear you mention the word chilly for once. Sorry you don't have the predicted rain. Love the idea of hot weather, Carol, but I do feel sorry for you. Can you go and join Ron or Buff,, lol.

Oh,I wish.....but really it's not true that the grass is always greener over the fence is it ? Ron's winter and summer bring problems, and Buff has his own seasonal problems.Chris's neck of the woods sounds ok though and he's offering hugs.....A nice fine day here with a light breeze, had a good couple of hours + on the bikes.
Di., why do you feel you have to tidy up for the leccy test Can you imagine some of the places he's been in ?

10C and warming up slowly, no fire needed this morning despite it getting down to 4C overnight. Feeling better today, yesterday afternoon I felt like garbage and cut less wood than expected. It started at lunch time when I suddenly lost my appetite. It probably was my body's reaction to the 2nd covid shot. I had no strength and felt nauseous, but later on in the evening I was feeling better and looking for snacks.

It is raining this morning and 17c at 1045am. NSW is the only state with any new covid cases today. Sorry to hear you were not feeling well Buff. I'm really not surprised that some of our folk on this board react to it with the amount of underlying chronic illness that we all suffer. Hoping everyone stays well. Ron.

Lovely out so far, but i'm just doing the fiinal chores lol. Have to wait in from 12 noon to 5pm for leccy man. Sometimes they just don't turn up as they had an emergency. they don't bother informing though. I'll just read quietly and maybe watch tennis. It's the mens semi final today. I don't watch tonnes of tennis but i'm enjoying watching sport this year. Seems the olympics will have no fans and their cases are at a very high level. I sincerely hope every nations death rate from this is on the downward trend. Hate to think what ours will be after the England football. We have the finals on Sunday and there will be millions gathered together everywhere over England. Deaths seem low at the moment though. Let's be hopeful.
Stay safe all and have a good day.

Ps, hope it's not too warm for you today, Carol.

20C ever slowly warming up after the lengthy chill, looking forward to some normal weather for a change. It never warmed up yesterday and had to light another fire for the evening. The computer was fixed and as I expected I lost all the data. Fortunately the important stuff was backed up on a separate drive. They are now talking about further reopening, and losing the mask. I look forward to the day we can ditch the mask.

Another cool morning with strong SW winds. Buff there was a report in the news this morning that west Nile virus has been found in mosquitos in at least six states in the US. I know that many people here tend to ignore mosquito bites and take them as an un avoidable part of tropical spring and summer yet few of them realize that mosquitos are by far the most dangerous insects in the world. When I was a kid council inspectors used to check homes for standing water and if they found wrigglers on your property you got one warning , then a fine. We don't have malaria in Australia yet but we do have serious problems with Ross river and Barmah forest fever. If you get a second dose of either you will probably get dengue which has similar symptoms as ebola and can be fatal. Being a fisherman I always put on plenty of bushmans heavy duty repellant, I hope your mosquito and black fly problems have eased. Ron.

Leccy man turned out to be a big black bloke (i'm not racists) he chatted for the whole hour he was here and every other word was a swear word, lol. They aren't supposed to use that language in other peoples homes, but he was letting them loose like a trooper. Actually i agreed about all his whinges although we didn't get onto the subject of weather.

It's horrible out. Very wet and damp, no heat yet, but hopefully it will cheer up this afternoon. Good luck with Nile Virus, Ron. Let's hope the colder weather puts pay to their spread of disease. We certainly never had anyone come around to look at our stagnant waters. Mind, we don't really have hot weather. I never seem to get gnat bites any longer. Used to be smothered when children. Such a loss of insects that only nature notices. Stay safe all.

22C a warm summer day coming up. I'm known for swearing, and I swear that it is a good way to release the built up stress, as there is no sense holding it in for its toxic. The biting flies are not so bad with the drier weather, but in the forest they are still a formidable force. There is little mention of West Nile carried by mosquitos, it is more of an issue further south, but we do have a major tick problem as they are known to carry Lyme's disease. One of my neighbors suffered greatly from it for most of his life, and I am not so sure about how I got Chrons, but tick bites could be a possible cause.

Actually i too am capable of swearing like a trooper, but i wasn't expecting it from the leccy bloke. Was funny really. So, today is Tennis, England Footie and why do i hope Richard Branson crashes. Gosh, not only do i swear i seem to be a nasty human. Can't stand the bloke. So arrogant.

Anyway, it's still a bit dull out. Not much sun expected today, showers i think. Does water my tangle bine stem greatly. Trouble is they twist themselves around all my lovely blooming plants. Says 20C out at the moment. It's not lovely summer weather like Chris and Ron get, more like Buffs weather.

22C another decent day coming up, and I will take it in out on the deck. As I speak they are getting Richard Branson and his crew ready for launch. I don't see the flight as an actual space flight but more of an extended amusement park ride. To be truly in space would mean orbital flight that is free from the force of gravity for more than one orbit of the planet. In any case I wish them all success. I liked his statement about life, when he said that cautious people have never lived. For it is true, for its like living life out in a closed drawer.

Another overcast day but no real prospect of rain. It is sad to see wildfires again in northern California. Space does not really interest me . I see no great value to travelling anywhere within our solar system and unless science makes some mighty leaps I don't see any point in taking untold generations of human life to go anywhere else. Planet earth is the only space ship I want to travel on.
Di bad luck about the football. Most of Australia is smiling with Ash Barty winning her first Wimbledon crown. Ron.

Yeah, tis a shame England lost to Italy. It boiled down to penalties as ever. I'm over it today already. Richard Branson isn't my fave person i do concede, however, i do think he was a bit of a waste of time with his soppy galactic flight which really isn't space travel. why would anyone pay silly millions for that experience. Buff, it is a grand funfair ride in the sky, but not worth millions as he wishes to make. Can't see it paying for itself at all. Just one of his silly grandiose ideas to grin at the world and hope we approve of him. I never did.

The wildfires and heatwaves in the US are still bad in some areas and Cali had a 6.0 quake too. Unsettle times. The weather here is pretty much that of November with 19C, which of course, isn't cold. I'm just not interested until the sun comes out and cheers me up. I could almost do without the heat if it was only sunny 300 days of the year.

God knows what our covid numbers will be after last night! Stay safe all

Dull and damp with the odd shower.Boris is on TV soon.Lord knows what rubbish he's going to spout today. If we don't have an impending lock down again after the thousands mixing for the footie I'll eat my lap top.....with ice cream.

20C gray and smokey, the sun appears as an shiny orange disc through the thick overcast. It may seem silly what Branson is doing, just as silly as watching a toddler take their first steps and fall down crying. These are humanities first steps to leaving the nest. I see no future here on earth, the warning signs are all around us that we must start moving forward while we still have time. There are endless possibilities out there that are beyond our comprehention. As one day we will have long term care facilities on the moon, possibly Mars that would offer a low gravity environment that would allow those who would otherwise be wheelchair bound to be able have mobility that cannot be found here. By then space travel will be no different than that of passenger jets.
We can do our heavy industry and resource extraction 'out there', and let the Earth fallow just as a tired agricultural field is allowed to rest and heal.

22C, very nice day coming up with sunshine instead of smoke for a change, it may even warm up as that prevailing easterly flow has subsided temporarily. Drill baby Drill, we will always need the oil for the petrochemical industry long after we stop burning it as fuels. We are only beginning to understand the problem and its far more than simply fossil fuel usage. Solving the problem is about as difficult as finding a cure for Chrons and cancer.

Quite sunny and warm today. Lovely to see a good sunny day out there all day. We had 50 deaths in the last 24 hours and around another 35,000 new cases in the past 24 hours too. We lose our restrictions on Monday 19th July and the numbers are going up. I think we have the worst cases in the world according to youtube. Shame.

Cloudy weather with temps rising. 16c to 23c today, 18c to26c by thursday. The cause is a huge low passing thru NSW offshore waters . This is combining with a following high. This is causing North west winds to sweep thru all of Qld bringing hot tropical air into the SE. This is an abnormal pattern for mid winter, but what's new. Ron.

20C Sunny. We had dry lightning in the area yesterday making the wildfire situation worse. Evacuations are taking place in many remote communities due to fire threats and smoke. I cleaned up the firewood pile moving all flammable sources away from the house, and am ready the best I can in case I have to evacuate. A forestry official is stopping by to meet with me later to discuss the logging operation nearby, and will try to negotiate having some of the forest protected for moose habitat.

Was stunningly lovely yesterday. The nasty 'killer cat' in the area was attacking a hedgehog again, my do they scream their distress. That cat needs to be euthanized! He really does kill anything and everything. So i have a recovering hedgepiggie in my bathroom. Oh, she's so noisy at night. I'm sure she's fine with no ill effects from the cat bite and claws. Not much blood so she'll off tonight i think. I still put out hedgie food yesterday and obviously i have another as when i looked out it was gone before i went to bed. No badgers spotted so far this summer. Think they moved on.

Today it's expected to be really hot again. It is 20C outside already no sunshine to speak of but it's still only noon. Hoping to get more garden done.
I've just sent off for another 20kg of bird food. They cost me a fortune lol. Love the humour there Carol. Why don't i have the nerve to say something like that.

Our masks are still going to be mandatory on some transport from monday. We don't have full escape and around 50 deaths yesterday. Numbers are up to around 45,000 per day and we are officially the worst in the world. Ron, we really are experiencing weather changes and it's getting drastic year by year. London was flooded yesterday i saw on youtube but it hasn't been on the news. Europe is also experiencing extreme weather and some deaths from this. Germany is suffering badly with around 60 missing. Buff, i sincerely hope you don't have to evacuate. Sounds awful. Hope everyone stays safe.

Very strong winds and rain constantly sweeping the southern states. Those in SW western Australia and western Tasmania refer to these systems as the roaring forties. Winter winds of 90-120 kph are a constant for months at a time. The northerly winds continue to bring spring like conditions to my region.

18C under clear skies. For now the smoke has lifted, but it could return any time. The forestry worker paid a visit yesterday. Nice personaity, but its clear that he is a shill for the forest industry capable of spewing out a lot of spin in favor of the logging operations. I closed the conversation by stating that the forest industry is worse than the coal industry. What's more important, money or a breathable planet, he couldn't provide a clear answer.

We're at 35c and experiencing a lot of smoke. There have been military helicopters around today. I saw a Boeing CH-47 Chinook tandem-rotor helicopter flying around earlier... And can still hear it, or another helicopter working in the distance. The CH-47 is among the heaviest lifting Western helicopters. We used to fly snow cats up to the nearby glaciers for our Olympic ski team to train in summer using these incredible beasts. I worked at the ski hill at the time and got quite a thrill out of watching them take off with something as large as a medium sized bulldozer hanging beneath. I woke up to all this noise around 6am and couldn't help but think, "Good Morning, Vietnam!"

Wonderfully hot and sunny today. The German and Belgian floods have brought the death toll upwards as more and more people are found drowned or just dead from being hit by debris being carried along. So sad. We do get floods here, mainly on flood plains, but fortunately we haven't suffered much since. London got a tad flooded too. Lovely here though.

22C under pink smokey skies. The forest fire count is going up, and there are talks of a possible evacuation of Red Lake, fortunately winds have been light in the area. If winds pick up, the situation could become dire. To the south there was a tornado that ripped through Barrie yesterday it flattened homes, but luckily few casualties.

24C going up. Smokey spicy air from the wildfires. I am very thankful for the airconditioner for making things comfortable during warm weather. I will not venture far from the house, alternating between the cool house and the deck. Read and enjoy a cooler or two, I enjoy a daytime drink but highly respect them for it doesn't take much during the day to leave me feeling drained out.

Carol next time I see my doc I am going see if he can install a switch that will just let me turn my brain off. When I go to bed at night my brain takes at least two hours to go to sleep and when I wake in the morning the same old crap is still rolling around in there. I keep coming back to my favorite quote " Life goes on long after the thrill of living is gone" Ron.

'Life goes on long after the thrill of living is gone '. That quote describes life for what it has become. All too often my head is spinning like a hung computer with nothing but useless bits of information blocking off all thought, while the pain goes on in my gut. At times I am watching the news, or show and I recall nothing of what I had watched due to the useless data spin in my head.
Very warm outside, into the low 30s yesterday and today. Coming into the house is a relief with the buzz of the airconditioner, but so was that swim I had at the neighbors who are on a lake yesterday. Today it will be life between the airconditioner and the sizzle out on the deck.

We are having wonderful weather for a while. Can't believe it is actually like a full week. We unlock tomorrow and with such a lovely heatwave everyone will be celebrating with friends and families everywhere. Lots of hugging without masks, talking loudly and release spit, etc etc etc. Anyway, i'm off out tomorrow too, so who am i to complain. Lets be hopeful for herd immunity and the vaccines. Then perhaps it will just be another flu.

We will continue to mask up and sanitize and keep a distance where possible....nobody knows what's going to happen.Quite warm again but cooler than some places in the UK.The annual school summer hols have begun same day as "freedom" day,so we'll se what the outcome is after 7wks fun and sun.Not having a good day,and only 3hrs sleep due to heat and a power outage which brought a crew with a mini digger right out side the window until 3-30am.

The warm spell is only a memory as its gray, smokey and the chill is back on, I took in the deck chairs as its feeling like rain. At the moment our covid numbers are looking good, in our region we presently have no cases. The concern are the variants, and we may very well go through another surge as fall progresses and people start spending more time indoors. This virus has become a global experiment, I get the feeling it's quite not over with yet.

Had a wonderful day out at Bridgenorth. Only a few people with masks on though. Fewer cases and fewer deaths reported in the UK yesterday. Maybe there is hope. Today it's already 30C out there. I'll wait till late afternoon to do gardening as i would be complaining as much as Carol. She needs to go to stay with Buff, it's cool there Carol, lol. think things will turn at the weekend for you Carol. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully a lot cooler with rain. Let's hope the light at the end of the tunnel is not the scorching sun.

It got down to 5c this morning which is pretty cool for us. lots of snow down on the southern Alps and almost up to the Qld border. We have small covid outbreaks in nearly all states except WA and Tas. We have not had much vaccine coming into the country so vaccination rates are low. I am well and truly in the minority having had two shots , probably because I was willing to have the astra . Ron.

Still warm and sunny but I'm not going to whinge. There were literally thousands down the coast earlier,no parking for 5mls,and queues outside all the food places.Sadly, the sea fret covered the beaches and we couldn't see a soul as we drove past.We could here them though, probably trying to locate the wandering offspring. Ron,are you enjoying retirement or do you wish you were back mending machines ?
Di.,I'm really happy you're getting some warmth in those bones at last.I bet you've still got your thermals handy though.

10C this morning, despite the cooler weather the forest fires rage on. The big one at Red lake and the Deer lake fires may merge and become a 200,000 hectare fire at some point. No real rain in the forecast anywhere in the region. The hope is that winds remain low.

Carol I haven't touched a machine since I finished and that is the way I want it. I am not really enjoying retirement but that is mainly due to covid and my own poor health. I just wish I had been in a position to retire twenty years sooner. It is very cold here at the moment and with 30 knot westerly winds blowing with the wind chill it feels like 1c. Ron.

OMG !!! ......also on the news just now......floods in China, fires in Arizona
floods in Europe...How on earth are they / we,going to put this right ?
It's taken 100yrs.tp wreck this planet how long do they think it'll take to right the wrong doing? Not in our lifetime that's for sure.

Nobody seems to have the will to try to stop the problems Carol. I am very glad that I have not just been born. I am kind of glad that I won't live that much longer. Brisbane ,Gold coast and Sunshine coast has just been awarded the 2032 olympic games. We have enough problems with high rents without a world wide invasion. Ron.

15C sunny. The problems humans created are most likely beyond their control, it could be mother nature is going to do a reset of the planet which will have dire effects upon all living things. These huge fires are complex, climate change maybe one factor, but its more about how forestry has transformed our forests into low flashpoint flammable vegetation by favoring conifer growth over the natural occuring mixed indigenous forests that had the ability to slow the spread of fire. Many of these tree plantations contain a well ventilated environment by spacing the trees which allows combution air to feed the fires which increases their intensity to apocalyptic proportions we see on the news daily now.

200,000 omg, Buff, that's awful. Poor wildlife. Yes China got a years worth of rain in 3 days and europe is drowning too. Temperatures have been scorching too. Well, i've actually had 3 cold showers today. The heat is affecting me now, don't know how you must cope, Carol. Cold bath run in morning and keep dipping in i would think, unless you have a shower. Should be better for you at the weekend. I've also noticed in the past two days a big lack of birds and their squawking fledgies. I'm not having to put so much feed out for them. That was a tad costly.

Marginally cooler and cloudy. The laundry hasn't dried as quickly as it did yesterday so it may be the humidity. Not bothered.I don't have the energy to let anything bother me much just now..I woke up this morning determined to drink less, eat right and excercise more.
But that was eight hours ago when I was younger and full of hope.

13C with a hint of rain. Many new fires have been popping up in the region, totalling 168 and 100 firefighters from Mexico are on the front lines working with 80 crews. The big fires in the Kenora area received some needed rain, but these are still listed as out of control. More rain is needed but its not in the forecast.

Cooler today, however still very windy. We're currently at 29c. The smoke is intensifying... We have a large fire to the South of us being fanned by 40 kilometer an hour South winds. It was first discovered on the 10th of this month and is up to around 800+ hectares.... It's being fought by four firefighters, one piece of heavy equipment and a helicopter. It's out of control and headed our way until more men and equipment arrive on scene.

17c at the moment ,overcast with light rain. Colder weather expected for the next few days as the winds turn from SE to SW. I was just watching a report from a South Australian university about large white cockatoos (birds) teaching each other how to lift the lids on large wheelie type garbage bins so that look for edible scraps . They are constantly reassessing the intelligence of members of the parrot family. Ron.

You're so funny, Carol. Wonderfully hot yesterday. Went out with friends and i see everyone is staycationing in the Cotswolds. Absolutely heaving and much traffic on the road. Today i take it easy and enjoy this last day of heat wave. Tomorrow is storms. Clever cockatoos, Ron. I do think birds are intelligent, can't help but admire nature. Just feel sad for everything as wildfires and horrendous flooding takes its toll on it.

20C Gray with smoke. Humidity has risen and there is a possibility for some rain in the forecast but the radar looks dry. The evacuees from the remote communities are having a difficult time adjusting to life in the cities while they wait for news about the state of their communities if their homes are still standing. The premier of the province is still waffling over the idea of issueing a state of emergency here in the northwest, but more needs to be done. There should be efforts on converting still certified passenger airliners that were retired early due to covid into water bombers, for the planes they use now are far too small to even make a dent in these fires.

Well, it's cold and windy out, lol. Our summer has done it's vanishing act. Surprised it showed up in the first place, this is the UK. Actually it was lovely whist it lasted and i would love it to return but we must get through these storms that are due. Nothing much here so far, but tomorrow will be very wet apparently. Carol, i'm pleased the heat wave is over for you, well, i assume it is. What's it doing up there?

Heavy rains through the night have essentially made this drought history at least for this locality. The problem is that the rain has been uneven missing other areas of need. However, its a game changer as seasons are now on the move with autumn not that far off. I will soon start piling all that firewood I cut earlier close to the house. I know the feeling Carol, our prime minister spends tax dollars like monopoly money, taxing the essentials while turning our country into a very expensive place to live favoring the wealthy and the elitists over those of ordinary folks.

No rain so far and no noise from fledglings. I was hoping to get the plants watered for free but that doesn't look like it's going to happen. Carol, you do make me laugh. I used to think that myself when my neighbours stood on my doorstep for ages yapping during lockdown. Honestly, they had no real idea of the meaning. They also have no appreciation of my fears for covid on top of all my health issues. I still wear a mask in shops and on trips. Many of us older ones do. chris, i can't imagine Canada at 8C in July, unless you live near Buff of course.

21c here. :) I still wear a mask if people won't distance or if the crowd in a shop is large...Only indoors though... I avoid most of the fustercluck! Rather be safe than sorry. I also know that I'm still able to catch and spread the virus unknowingly. After being double vaxxed greatly reduces the chances of me catching or spreading the sickness. However, I still care, so I wear a mask... There's no need to ask!

Cooler and dry today.Took the bikes for an airing and the zip broke on my hi-viz cycle jacket so I enjoyed the breeze whistling through......then I fell off,or should I say fell under.I felt sure I'd broken my elbow and was shouting and ringing my bell to get Les's attention, but he was cycling ahead quite unconcerned. A lady stopped her car to help, also a kind man on walking sticks.I got up quicker than I went down but made sure I stayed down until my darling noticed I wasn't behind him.A few scrapes and bruising tomorrow, but nothing broken, this time.

20C good summer day coming up following the one we had yesterday, expecting sunshine and temps in the high 20's. Fought with the laptop and this time I won a round, albeit with a little coaching from the computer tech. I was having trouble re installing photogallery into the laptop after wiping the drive, installation failed everytime. The tech told me to put the laptop into airplane mode to disconnect it from the internet so that the defender antivirus cannot detect it; installation was quick and easy. It seems microsoft uses their antivirus for more than protection. Do this only when you know the program is clean and safe. I long for the simpler times, and slower pace of life before computers took over everything.

Carol, I hope you're not too bad, especially tomorrow. Did you give les a bean on toastie finger for his tea after his dastardly behaviour? No rain for us whilst London is flooding and others are getting good thunderstorms. We were supposed to have all that, but nothing yet. I would like my plants to receive free water rather than spend a fortune. Mind, the birds are so few now i often wonder where they all go so soon after fledging. I'm saving an absolute fortune in bird food. buff, that's a good tip about wifi. I pick up my new computer tomorrow all being well. I'm a tad nervous. This one is a very old and sturdy Toshiba, but they don't make them now and i know i'm going to get a flimsy one that might break if the cat jumps on it.

We are currently in a run of relatively warm days and cool nights. NSW ,Vic and SA are still in lockdown with delta strain active. We had demonstrations in NSW and Vic against lockdown .It is expected it will add to the spread of covid. I can't do much more to conform to the rules, I have had both vaccinations and a couple of weeks ago I bought a box of 50 masks . I am not in an area of lockdown but I always wear a mask when out and about. I hate to think what will happen if and when covid shifts to a shifting antigen strain.Ron.

It's been quite nice today. Still no sign of rain and storms, so still using lots of water for my plants. My computer that i had hoped to pick up today hasn't turned up at the store, so now i'm wondering if it's one of those companies that just want your order and money and don't tell truths about delivery. Oh, well. Think our covid is stabilising now. Fewer infections (it's the young) and fewer deaths. Keep to the masks all. Still stay safe. Carol, sincerely hoping you're not too hurt from the fall.

I hope you have not got too many aches and pains Carol ,in our condition it is not what you do, it is how long it takes to get over it. I am a purist I don't require any mechanical aids to hit the ground. I still have not fully recovered from my fall at Christmas. It is a cool start to the day here but getting up to 23c and no wind for a change. Ron. P>S> There is a group of Aust firefighters heading over to Canada in the next couple of days. Ron.
